Usually, anything Christmas themed is given on November 30th in our Christmas Kickoff box. It has Christmas books, Christmas decorations, Christmas tree ornaments, Christmas pajamas, Christmas movies, Christmas mugs/cups, Advent calendars, so we can use them all December. December 10, we celebrate St. Nick's Day, and we have our Christmas boots filled up with treats and goodies, Christmas Eve we get a Christmas Eve box, and on Christmas Day are our stockings, presents, and Christmas crackers. Plus we play games with prizes at our grandparents' house. The weekend before Christmas, we have our Christmas dinner, so nobody slaves in the kitchen all day on Christmas. We make things like spaghetti, sandwiches, hotdogs, or chili, etc., on Christmas day.

I’m like you I go overboard but I only have one child. I usually get stocking stuffers from Target and the limit is $100. My son doesn’t get anything until Christmas morning but I used to usually do a Christmas box at the beginning of season but he’s 12 now and has an abundance of Christmas plushies, he has every Christmas movie possible and he’s kinda grown out of Christmas books. Now I take him to Target and let him pick out a piece of Christmas decor for his room which is Grinch themed and I buy him an ornament for his tree.
