To be fair tho, i feel apex has done the best way out of all supply drop type things because theyve been pretty upfront about how rare heirlooms are and you cant get duplicates which i feel most you can also cant get any advantages from them
I remember when you got the actual heirlooms instead of the shards. I bought a pack while playing with friends and had NO IDEA heirlooms existed back in season 1 of the game. And I got the heirloom pose, knife, and quip for Wraith. Still one of my favorite moments ever playing that game

It's like a 0.01% chance of getting heirloom shards before hitting the 500 pack mark. it's guaranteed at 500 though
No it's not it starts at 1 in 500 but every time you open one it drops from 1in 500 to 1 in 499 and continuously until eventually get one
Also if you are to spend no money on the game for packs. And your account gives u a pack every other lvl up then you only have a 50% chance of getting an heirloom after getting to lvl 500
Respawn basically just saying that they want us to pay them bank to even get ONE heirloom

Like courage said, one heirloom every 250 packs. Instead of every 500 packs where you only have a 0.2% chance of getting heirloom.
This is just like watching M3rkmusic opening supply drops
The thing is, whenever I get a legendary out of an apex pack, it’s a STUPID STUPID spray.
1/500 doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed, just means you have a .20% chance of pulling the shards per pack opening.
Once you open your 500th pack your guaranteed an heirloom, so yeah it’s 1/500
@Truly_Crypt1c No they don't. It's 1/500 all the way up until your 500th pack. Then it's guaranteed.

I agree with how it’s outrageous for a guaranteed heirloom after 500 packs. I get it’s a really rare item but it should atleast be like 250
250 is easy do many like 350
500 is good because heirloom are supposed to be rare it’s take the fun out of getting it if everyone has it
