Mr Stan I just want to say thank you. For letting us go with you on your everyday adventures and what you do. This video going to May wes sure help me out on a decision that I've been wondering about. You explain everything and get everything to a T about what's going on. So again Stan thank you very much for all your help God bless you and your family and crew and be safe out there💪😎👍🇺🇸
I purchased a plastic slip plate/disc for my semis' 5th wheel from May-Wes back in the late 90's. Stanley I wish I would of known you were in my neck of the woods, I would have come by to say hi!
Not sure I'd bolt plastic down with a lock washer? That kind of vibration might be better off with a nyloc nut. That's a great upgrade from steel though
Hey Stanley. I really enjoy your videos. Watching your adventures in snow removal. Down here in SW Iowa we’ve had 20 inches in a short period of time. So we sort of feel your frustration. Keep the great stuff coming.
Stan, ya know, growing up in Pittsburgh definitely had it's perks. I actually knew Mr Rodgers. The production studio was here in Pittsburgh. I remember watching his program, and he used to show all kinds of stuff being manufactured. Your video reminded me of this. That's the compliment of compliments!
Stanley you have to make sure that you’re set for winter ❄️ because when you have to get it done ✅ you definitely 👍 don’t need problems in the middle of a snowstorm freezing to fixing it 😮😊❤
Stanley, now you are going to have to go out and clear snow. With my foot being broken I have not cleared snow once this year. We haven't had snow fall this year either. But I will be honest. I don't miss it and it makes me rethink about things.
I wonder if you will get stuck more now with the taller cutting edge. When you lift the plow before you go into a pile the snow needs to drop out of the blade before you hit the pile. That edge makes it so the plow can’t be lifted as high to make the plow empty easier.
when measuring he was looking at the back of the plow which makes it right to left when he was pulling his tape . When working on things you always picture yourself looking out the windshield for left and right orientation
I just put 1/4" AR400 steel plate on the front side of my 180z. Game changer. Can use float at all times unless it's crazy hard pack. Down pressure peels it right up
Wow, that is pretty cool how you can get a custom made cutting edge literally for anything, only problem I heard during the whole thing vacuum is not measured in pressure vacuum is measured in inches of mercury and a perfect vacuum is 30 inches which cannot be obtained on earth in space you can not on earth.
There's absolute pressure, and gauge pressure, with "vacuum"still being positive absolute pressre but negative gauge pressure. Hard vacuums in laboratories can easily exceed anything found in space, which still has measurable amounds of gas in a volume.
The one thing I never see with the snow plow stuff is what about the technology for playing gas stations getting around the gas fill lids so you don't send them flying when they get hit?
i worked at a place tht made casket liners and thats stuff would shock the living crap out of you,i wonder if they deal with the same issue from that material?
Honestly...Just ship them without the holes. I'm going to clamp it on and drill them regardless because its going to be off. Its plastic...not a material like hardox where you cant drill it without special carbide bits. I got an old short iron off facebook last year and I called these guys for new edges after watching this video, I told them just ship them without drilling I will clamp and drill with a mortising bit. If anything ship it with the correct size mortise bit I suppose. Im not taking chances on a hole being off, no reason for that.
Their 1x6 edges run 3.30 per linear inch. Their 1x8 edges run 4.35 per lineal inch. More than steel but they last longer and give you more flexibility.
The reason the factory edge wore like that is because the plow is not level, meaning with the wings facing back, they are lower than the main plow section, that needs to be fixed if you expect the new edges to last.

That cold shoulder you got from the operator was just something to emulate. What a guy!
First saw this a few years ago on MillenialFarmer's Channel, they did the poly 5th wheel plates. Boody brilliant!
Promoting other companies that do quality work. It’s a blessing.❤
May Wes is in my hometown!! My kid just got some snowmobile skis from them in November.

I recall seeing Eric from May Wes on the MNMillennialFarmer's channel about skis and some improvements made on a combined header.
Stan for my arctic sectional I made plastic guides for the wings when you go up against curb so it doesn't chip edge of curb
Very cool video thanks for sharing
Definitely going to be calling them for my fisher minute mount 2 7’6” and my 9’
I'm a CNC guy too,
We like to talk to our selfs, a lot!
Excellent footage! I have a Boss rubber edge box plow, wondering if a guy could run one of those polys on it without a trip????
We weld wear bars on our snow wolf cutting edges. Would like to try these on a pusher
What a great video, Very interesting. Thank you !
That's pretty sweet......JJ...😊
Getting any snow, Stanley. Catch you later.
Nice one Stan. 👍👍🏴🏴

I was just thinking of doing that a few weeks ago. I’ve got a snow power glad you said something
@Andrew_Garcia1 are you from around the Twin cities
I got one for my Sno Power HW16 from these guys because of your last video at May Wes 👍🏻
Fill that gap with UHMW and put the new cutting edge over the UHMW filling the gap so you can flip the edge when needed.
I think those cutting edges are made of Unobtanium. Stronger than Captain America's shield.
Cant believe we went all the way to Pandora and subjugated some giant blue people just for some cutting edges!
Very, very neat Stan!
It would be cool for 4 wheeler plows to
Love the videos

Is it food grade can you make a cutting board out of that stuff?
The one thing I never see with the snow plow stuff is what about the technology for playing gas stations getting around the gas fill lids so you don't send them flying when they get hit?
great stuff
Ok, you got the parts now we need some plowing videos!

Stan : Very interesting Video and Jack is Very Tall.
he is alive finally new notification , use my book mark,

Hope your seeing some white stuff! We are due for some Friday again

Im surprised that they don't have templates for the most popular plow manufacturers already set-up for production
They sure do but do you know how many specific equipement there is on the market
Stan would you put uhmw on a v plow ?
R u gone put one on ur ford
For what snow?! Can we have some in the nw metro bud?!
I'm kind of surprised that May Wes doesn't have the patterns on file.
c&a skis are a big deal in the snowmobile world stan. would never have guessed.
jack is huge
Thanks Stan
You name , they probably can make it fit
The owner looks like Riley green

Stan. It doesnt snow here. Save your money.
Why would you flip a cutting edge? Just put ALL the wear material on the bottom and save yourself the hassle and get better performance in deep snow.
All this and no snow.
Oooo 120" you're a joke Stan....
oh fun

Soooo since this is a wear item you are leaving small pieces of plastic everywhere you plow right? Seems great for the earth right?
Wow out of everything that is completely fucked up on the globe, that's what you got out of this story. You are the problem not the plastic.
You’ve won the dumbest comment of the day award!! Congrats!
Your tires leave little pieces of rubber compound everywhere you go. You going to replace those with wood?
here to help
