I’m glad to have found your channel and others to know the experience of current road traveling from Accra to Abidjan. I’ve been googling for reviews to know if flying is better than the road travel because of the difficulties at the Ivory Coast border. Do you know if there are challenges to go through Ivory Coast border when traveling with a Ghanaian card just for the purpose of not wanting to use a foreign passport which would require a visa. I have a personal business to deal with there and my reason for debating between road travel and air is just to recreate fond memories of my siblings and I traveling every long holiday with our dad to visit him there, the fond memories of seeing beautiful things along the road side and people selling stuff, that was about 25yrs ago when i was still in Ghana. Money to fly is not a problem but the stress and toll of dealing with immigration and police stops almost every 30 minutes to an hour only to be asking for bribes is my problem, if that still exists there, especially after being outside the Ghana for that long and being used to everything being done in a quick and timely manner. So based on the experience you had, which option would you choose if you had an option to go back there.

So glad you found my channel thank you so much for watching ☺️ we went with STC so we don’t have to stop for police checks and tbh the boarder wasn’t tooo bad they checked our documents and crossing over was 3 check points but coming back was much smoother. The only thing that delays time is other people 😅 so if you have a full bus and they have to get through everyone that’s what delays time other then that it’s manageable. I used my Ghana passport they prefer you use your passport because once you cross they can stress you with the Ghana card but you’ll still get by. But rules are always changing so when going please call STC and ask. In a dream world I would like to try a flight it’s 1 hour but roughly $350-$450 while the bus was 980GhC. But the time you can save taking a flight might be worth it.
I hope this helps 🙈 please feel free to ask more questions 🙏🏾

@@PreciousHanah thanks for your reply. Where did you get the price quote $350-$450 for flying, is it at Kotoka it’s self because price quote on google is much higher.

Joli vlog, Precious, j'ai adoré l'ambiance (I love this vlog). The way I was living my imaginary best life through the music and places of this vlog, only God knows 🤣..Let's pray our countries start making it easier for us to travel in the continent (with their headache crossover borders🥴)

Merci🥰 so glad you enjoyed this 😅💃🏾
Honestly I wish it was way cheaper to fly to other African countries it’s so expensive to fly within the continent 🤦🏾
I’m planning a trip to Togo next 😁 do you have any tips for me 😂♥️

@@PreciousHanah The plane tickets are honestly a joke😭. Oeh I don't if I can write everything here, but in Lomé you can visit the historic places, Monument de l'independence, Coco beach, Marcelo beach etc...
But Kpalimé is truly the city I want to recommend. The ride there from the city is quite far, but worth it. They have Centre Artisanal de Kpalimé (it's an art school where you can also buy beautiful art pieces), Cascade de Womé (girl you better eat something before going, cause the stairs 😭, but it's really beautiful nature and water, very calming) and Chateau Viale (historic place for the presidents and their shenanigans, and the viewwwww)
Aného also has Port De Pèche. Beautiful place also.
There is also this new place in Abobo called 'Magbatrova-kpoé' 45min from Lomé. It's kinda like a resort, with water activities, food and drinks. Would go on a Saturday, because then the ambiance is truly good..Haven't been there yet, but y family says it's really nice!
For traveling you can download Gozem (Uber), but if I remember correctly you need a Togolese sim card for that. I don't recommend it if you're going far place, just stop a cab on the road and negotiate the price 🤪.
If you like ice cream I really strongly recommend Fanyogo yoghurt flavor (my obsession).

@@PreciousHanah The way I wish I could be there right now 😭, but I'm still stuck to my school till next year. God willing summer next year I'll get my degree and immediately I'm gone back to Togo and traveling to neighbor countries living my best life 😂👏🏾.. Hopefully we can meet, would love to Thank you in real life for how much your videos have helped me take my move back more serious and thought through 🤲🏾
