Last week I bought a memory stick and the store clerk laughed at me when I said I need one or two gigabytes. “Yeah they don't make those anymore“. Where did Korg even find 32 MB flash storage? What were they thinking???
Really, who the hell hates the analog rytm? It and the syntakt are universally beloved. People def hate on some of the other elektron boxes but those two are like the main fan favorites.
I dont know. I couldnt say, but i feel as thought someone making drum machines is a step in the right direction. When i was growing up there were only the devices of yesteryear and not anything new. I appreciate there being more options in that respect. I have a roland TR-8 which i love despite it being outdated. I would like to have more drum machines but up until lately there wasnt one id spend money on. I think the korg is worthy but id rather hold out for the Linn drum clone coming from behringer.
I'd really love if you looked at the Synthstrom Deluge! I'm a kiwi and it's honestly the pride of our edm production, but it's caught so much flac for being essentially a DAW that uses pads as pixels, I guarantee Klangfarbe has a floor model (because they're so fkn cool) that you could play with that you'd 200% either LOVE or HATE! Anyway, love the content so much, brought me a lot of joy! Keep doing you! ❤️
Also idk as a member of a weird niche country I'm sure you'll enjoy another weird niche country's weird nieche claim to fame 😂 (also: see Filmmaker (musician) who makes all his music on the Deluge! gud stuf)
Only kids believe that "workstation" refers specifically to software. IMO anything that can do synthesis, sampling, sequencing, and recording is a DAW.
I was hoping korg would make an advanced digital drum machine that’s similar to machinedrum since I like volca drum a lot, and we got a new bad gear material 💀
AudioPilz Bad Gear is checking all the right boxes! LOL. My search for a MachineDrum without buying a MachineDrum Elekron. ;) This is getting close I guess.
At this point I think Korg and Roland have an engineering department in competition to see how fast they can tank their company. They are given incredible capabilities, and yet they want to see how terribly they can be implemented in desktop boxes. Everytime they put something out now it's like thanks we hate it. Florian somehow makes the best Jams regardless it's like Rembrandt using crayons on construction paper 😂.
I actually liked the Drumlogue demos and then wanted one much more after I tried it out in person... Unfortunately for Korg I have just as little money as I do taste.
Dammm you Pilzzz! I've been thinking of getting one of these and now I don't know which way is up or down. You can make a thrift store kids toy sound great so it's more confusing than ever. I've seen some vids on line of people making these sound insane, but I guess they are difficult to program like you were saying.

Thank you so much!!!
You should do one of these on the Analog Rytm. I feel like it's pretty polarizing.
Really, who the hell hates the analog rytm? It and the syntakt are universally beloved. People def hate on some of the other elektron boxes but those two are like the main fan favorites.
@@middaymeds I honestly don't even see many people with Rytms, mostly Octatrack.
Great suggestion, thanks!
@@justink8156thats a sampler
Only thing polarizing about the Rytm is the learning curve. The pads could be better. Other than that, it’s one of the best drum machines ever made.
I like the TR-8 quite a bit too!
Instead of working on new custom oscillators and FX for a product like this, KORG has an entire office in Berlin playing with electronic kimbalas.🤦♂️
I really don't care for the constant cuts to random stuff. But I guess the kids love it. Cool demo.
Thank you for the feedback!
Just spotted these being sold new for £250 in the UK 😂
Nice!!!
Also idk as a member of a weird niche country I'm sure you'll enjoy another weird niche country's weird nieche claim to fame 😂 (also: see Filmmaker (musician) who makes all his music on the Deluge! gud stuf)
Controversial opinion: the Deluge is the Kalamata olive of synth/groovebox/drum/wtvrmachines
Great suggestion, thanks!!!
It's definitely ticking all the boxes...
AudioPilz Bad Gear is checking all the right boxes! LOL. My search for a MachineDrum without buying a MachineDrum Elekron. ;) This is getting close I guess.
😀😀😀
At this point I think Korg and Roland have an engineering department in competition to see how fast they can tank their company. They are given incredible capabilities, and yet they want to see how terribly they can be implemented in desktop boxes. Everytime they put something out now it's like thanks we hate it. Florian somehow makes the best Jams regardless it's like Rembrandt using crayons on construction paper 😂.
Thank you so much!!!
@@AudioPilz thank you Florian I always look forward to seeing what you can do with the crap we have piling up around our studios too. 👏
Once again your prediction has materialized. $299 @ Korg US on Reverb. 🥳
I actually liked the Drumlogue demos and then wanted one much more after I tried it out in person... Unfortunately for Korg I have just as little money as I do taste.
I'm pretty sure these prices will come down significantly
Waking up to a new episode of this and also having dodged the bullet by just recently canceling my order for the drumlogue ❤
You're not the only one to cancel the order;)
Dammm you Pilzzz! I've been thinking of getting one of these and now I don't know which way is up or down. You can make a thrift store kids toy sound great so it's more confusing than ever. I've seen some vids on line of people making these sound insane, but I guess they are difficult to program like you were saying.
These are actually really easy to use but also very limited
