Welcome to Bad Gear, the show about the world's most hated audio tools. Today we are going to talk about the Korg Drumlogue. Is this brand new digital/analog drum machine the game changer we have been waiting for or is it just another unfinished hotchpotch of old technologies? Can it keep up with Elektron machines like the Octatrack or Digitakt?
Thanks to Klangfarbe for helping me out with one of their Drumlogue floor models:

The same black as MC-101, almost the same small as MC-101... but overall - nice drum machine. Let's see how it came out in AudioPlitz's video ;)
      [EDIT]
100% agree that it should be 299.

Love having a gear channel that doesn't exist to sell me things!

You called it, this is now selling brand new at outlets for $299 USD. Its actually what brought me here to check out if it was worth considering but I just get the feeling that is money I'd rather spend to getting a slightly better drum machine, or, honestly just sticking with what I have. I really love my Erica Synths LXR-02 Drum Synthesizer, and I can always spend more time with the samplers I have to fill anything that lacks.

You actually demo'd this better than anyone else I've seen - you're the first TH-camr who has made me appreciate this machine. There's still no way I'd buy it for it's current price, but it's also not as bad as I thought.
The main issue for me is that Korg is so completely terrible in terms of firmware updates. Although I'm sure there will be a few updates, I doubt they will add very much at all

It's impressive that I bought a Drumlogue, used it for a week and returned it before the Bad Gear video even came out- and it's still a new!
