  • Paul Miller, author and founder of seeJesus, a global discipling mission, tells the story of how he learned to love through seasons of suffering in his own family. Through his family’s own trials, he came to realize that loving people isn’t always efficient, but rather, it requires you to slow down and be present and attentive. Paul shares his own journey of learning this kind of love from the pattern of Jesus’ life.

My boy committed suicide in May 2020. "This was in a time when the church was maybe not sensitive". Thank you for saying this. It was bursting at the seams of my heart. I looked to the church for help before my boy took his life. He had Asperger's Syndrome and was on medication. The folks at the church did not understand. I grew up during a time when church pastors would cast out demons during prayer and heal the sick but this seems to have slowed down or stopped. Are we all getting tired? I still believe in God and His sovereignty in all things. We however seem to have lost "all power". Church, wake up! Thank you for sharing this. You made my day. God bless you and your family.

I'm sorry about your son. I've been to astral realm hundreds of times and to the 5th dimension, otherwise known as the heavenly realm. I assure you, as a weekly astral projector, nothing happens when one dies... They simply slip out... That's it... You're son is still alive and well 😊

Loving people should be easy and something as humans we understand naturally. At least I find loving others is just basic.

    。✧*.。A life lesson。✧*.。:
I've stopped listening to music that have toxic context; which have improved my life fr. Ppl don't really think about how much things we see and watch actually impact our thoughts and mood. Majority of the lyrics are negative and toxic (same goes with many TV-series/shows and movies). I hope this helps someone who’s stuck with toxic content.
Toxic contents are good in the way that it can open our eyes and ears about what actually is toxic/bad/wrong - so we therefore can distance ourselves from toxicity. So observe, learn and act.
Toxic things/people are just distractions... toxicity prevents us from being productive and growing as persons, so we need to replace these toxic patterns with healthy patterns: We need to respond and act the opposite of toxic (we need to respond and act with KINDNESS). Our purpose in life is to live and learn from our mistakes and therefore make this world better and SAFER.
Instead of thinking "Why is this happening to me?" -> think "What can I learn from this?"
    Peace and love.
