I just spent half an hour doing the first one from a totally scrambled cube. Didn't know it would be so easy if I just followed a regular solution and rotated two slices twice on each side!

Do the pattern backwards and reverse. For example, if you did R U F’ R’, just do R F U’ R’. Did it help?
In other words, if you moved right layer up and upper layer left for example, just move upper layer right and then right layer down.

You can undo the patterns by doing the reverse moves, or if you followed the algorithm just do it backwards and opposite.
