      Oh if he didn't grab the gun from this lunatic we would've seen more victims without a doubt. Once he shot the 20 precious souls he reloaded and walked into where brandon was to kill more people and that's when he was confronted. If it weren't for him being courageous and brave more people would've been shot. He's truly a hero!

    Violence breaks out it literally seems every year, year after year, all throughout the year, day by day. Communities throughout the world impacted, all too often.
    What you need to know?? Tell the people you love them, that you love them, as often as possible. Place notes, signs around the house, at the office, in the car, to remind yourself, of the importance in letting your family, friends, community that you love them, the people in your life, as to say it enough, not enough. These tragedies are not typically given advance notice, the reminder reflecting at times, when it is too late. While experiences such as this, others, often serves as a reminder of telling people that you love them, it should be a part of everyday life, more often than it is, as to times such as this, and as to any sense of preventative measure or any place of regret/wishing you had, said what you needed to, would have. As the world hurts, community hurts, love, as love is stronger than hate.

    I have to say God bless the young man who disarmed the shooter. He showed a lot of restraint by not shooting the murderer. I think if he had known what he had done 10 minutes prior there would have been a different ending to this story.
    I just cannot understand how a 79 year old man all the sudden go on a killing spree.

      This has happened a couple of times since the covid pandemic started. I kinda feel that for whatever reason - whether neurological hangovers from of covid, or secondary effects like the pressures of lockdown, or the effect that it had on issues like Alzheimers, or the pressures of being old and going through another global recession - it feels like a lot of elderly people went sharply downhill this last year or two, and then there’s just sime last straw happens.

      @@eh1702 you know you might be right about this. I was talking to my doctor about my upcoming 100 or 200 s surgery I have actually lost track but anyway. In between my last surgery in 2019 October 30th 2022 I was diagnosed with extreme diabetes. My doctor the other day had been going through all my previous blood work and he said I've never seen someone to go from not having diabetes to the point where you are now going to have to inject yourself insulin.
      He said he was talking to other doctors and this exact thing has been happening around the country. They're working theory is that we did not eat well people did not get exercise and the results are now people becoming positive for diabetes.
      If your body reacts that badly to the stress of the lockdown who's the say it did not send this older gentleman over the top. You just don't see somebody at that age who's never committed a crime to go on a killing spree.
      Bless you for taking the time to respond to my message. Wherever you are in the world I hope you have a great weekend.

      @@davidfrank2824 Doctors are reporting a surge in cases of psychosis, especially associated with people who are elderly &/or with serious or repeated covid infections. It seems that maybe getting covid several times, instead of improving your immune system, takes more and more of a toll.

    • @eh1702
      @eh1702 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      On my side of the Atlantic, doctors have been saying since 2019 that people are being left with clusters of “plaques” (tangles of protein) in their brain from covid, which they think is a big part of “long covid”. And they think that apart from the problems of lockdown itself (which affected a lot of us, especially yourself) that these brain plaques and possibly similar in other organ tissues are cumulative with each covid infection. Actually, they also think that the surge in diabetes cases might be a direct remnant of covid infection in some people, not just the result of lockdown.

    Asian men aren’t soft & nice, it’s just we are better at controlling our temper & think twice before doing things that’s un-reversible, these back to back shooting by elderly Asian men really worries me because at this age, they have nothing much to lose & because we are good at control our anger/temper, rage can bottle up & when it explode, it can be very scary.
