    as a "beginner" (200ish hours in trainer) Using a glass pad might be the best thing thats happened for my aim, Its helped me actually learn how to manage the tension in my arm and just overall mouse control a lot faster than I did on my old mudpad.

    just ordered my first skypad today, one of the new 404 drop and this review came as a blessing! most in depth review out there, a lot of respect for the time you put into this! ❤

    Just copped this for 61.30 euros from sale im so excited to replace my 1.5 year old worn out artisan pad with something faster. I think it will make me more motivated to aim train aswell because i know i will be shit for the first 2 months after using this worn out shit and g640 for so long. edit watching the reviews after buying a product as usual sadly didnt get to use ur code great review !

    Aww it's way louder than I thought. Idk about buying a new mousemat every 6 months, I have the glorious mousemat which I bought for $30 two years ago, whenever it gets dirty I just stick it in the washing machine and it works like new again. Plus one machine wash every few months is way less of a time sync than constantly cleaning dust off the skypad.
    I still want one though somehow. I just tried this old dirty razer hard pad in Valorant and even though you don't recommend staying rock hard in tac shooters it felt great to me I was hitting some insane multikills headshotting with every bullet. I want to live rock hard.

    Hey question, i have a gpx & skypad and im currently master with gm reactive & static, ive had my gpx and skypad for about 4 months now. what aftermarket mouse skates would you recommend? im currently looking at tiger ice but i dont want anything much faster than current stock.

    • @dokiww
      @dokiww  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hard question to answer, tiger ice and corepads are both faster than the stock feet on a GPX (stock is quite slow), there's not much on the market that is that slow

      @AngryAimer ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dokiww alright, I heard corepads get "muddy" overtime. should I just buy those and replace them every 2 months instead of tiger ice once every 4 months?

    • @dokiww
      @dokiww  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AngryAimer no specific time needed, usually I just change them when they don't feel as fast (for me that's about 2-3 months), also note corepads comes with 2 sets of feet instead of 1 like tiger ice, so that's something to consider as well

    Currently using a Hien rn. Im diamond in statics and speed TS but master for the rest. Do you think a glass pad might help me improve more?

    • @dokiww
      @dokiww  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That depends on whether or not you want a faster pad, personally I think if you want to get good at static skypads aren't worth it (not that it's impossible to get good at static on glass, I just believe its harder)

    • @BlackandWhiteKovaaks
      @BlackandWhiteKovaaks ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dokiww Then do you think glass pads are more suited for tracking? Cause my main games are tracking based and i do not play tac shooters

    • @dokiww
      @dokiww  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BlackandWhiteKovaaks Yea I would defo say skypads are for mostly tracking games, IMO I would say it's better but that's just my opinion

      @@dokiww I beg to differ, now everyone is obviously different. but for me static used to be my WEAKEST before i bought skypad & gpx. i went from dia to gm in a month and a half. I can attest though, static was literally impossible at first but it became very easy after a while

    I'm a cordura pad user with glass skates, do you think it's worth upgrading to skypad 3.0?

    • @dokiww
      @dokiww  ปีที่แล้ว

      Disclaimer: I haven't tried glass skates
      Speed wise I don't think you gain much if at all going to a skypad, however it could potentially be a durability and consistency improvement since I've heard reports of glass skates being affected by humidity and also having poor durability as the coating wears off (not sure about this, would love to hear your experience!)

      I use 4/11 windows since I find it easier for armor swaps
      The stock skates aren't bad in terms of speed, but they are quite thin and mine needed to be changed in under a month, so I recommend some tiger ice along with a skypad

      I quite literally just go to the nearest sports equipment place and buy the cheapest sleeves
      The main question when looking for sleeves should be whether or not you want to cover your thumbs with them, the materials and stuff aren't important IMO
