I've been watching these tutorials for a while, ever since getting myself an iPad Pro.
Tonight was the first time I opened up Procreate and actually committed to trying it myself, and seeing it through to the very end.
Took me almost 4 hours and endless amounts of doing the Undo gesture... but I pushed through.
I'm genuinely speechless at how someone like me - someone with zero art experience both in Procreate and in general - was able to make something remotely similar. I've always loved the concept of putting emotions/thoughts into some kind of creative form, and I have a feeling Procreate is gonna be that tool for me in the future. And I'm proud to say you will undoubtedly be the inspiration for it.
For the first time in a long time I feel real proud of myself haha. Can't thank you enough for regularly posting these.
I feel giddy just thinking about showing everyone I know. 💙

How long does it take you to paint a landscape? All your brush strokes are very impactful and I assume it wouldn’t take more then a couple hours?

Great tutorial, but weirdly my soft brush (in the airbbrushes) looks nothing like the one you use when I paint the clouds... Would you know share the settings of your brush ?
I never change the settings, check you are using the correct brush as there are 2 soft brushes

Hi James! I'm on a tight budget for an Apple Pen so I got myself a third-party stylus. Problem is, the pen does not have pressure sensitivity feature. Do you have any tips on strokes that require pressure sensitivity?
Sorry I’m really not sure how to get past the lack of pressure sensitivity as it’s crucial to my workflow
Hi I love your tutorials! I take my iPad out and use it on location. I have just been learning by feeling free to experiment and find my own style as I am fairly new to the iPad. I looked back on your videos as I wanted to see if you had any tips about something to help grip the apple pencil. I found one mentioning the rubber grip from a Papermate Inkjoy pen. If you have a moment I would like to know does having this on the pencil hinder it charging on the iPad? Thanks
I only used it on Apple Pencil 1. Apple Pencil 2 has a great and texture I think and doesn’t really need it, besides it would prevent it from attaching properly there charging wouldn’t work.

How do u make drawing sound when u draw with the pen ?
How do you get lines straight without jitter? No matter how slow I try to draw certain lines they come out with jitter and don’t look clean.
