Funny you mentioned Kuphall and ffs. The only thing I’ve heard from him this year is bitching about ffs on live.
It’s a pretty direct correlation between vocal ffs hate and performance. The guys that gripe the most are done before these tournaments start.

@@HellaBass I truly think he and Lowen have done their careers damage with their appearances on Zaldains podcast. I can totally understand not liking ffs and wanting a rule change, but the way they approach it was so off putting. Compare it to someone like Jocumson who also wants it gone, but has reasoned arguments and avoids the crying and complaining.

We have two mindsets in the fishing world today. Those of us who have learned bass behavior and migrations over the years, and the ones who have found the bass on a screen and know how to use and find a couple of baits that will work. The second is easier for the guys that grew up on a phone and computer. It’s not as easy, but can and must be learned by the old guys. It goes against nature and honesty for the old guys. But easily accepted by the young man. It boils down to early beliefs and morals. Good or bad? Can’t see consequences until after a fall.
Good vs Bad? Isn't it just different, why can't veterans take the knowledge they have and add tech on top? I would also argue that the younger anglers do understand bass movements and behavior better, because they are learning it real time and not diluted with old mis guided assumptions

If GMan is smart he will turn on that screen .I don't understand these bank beaters veterans refuse to use it it's not about how YOU wanna fish at some these events man you gotta adapt whatever it takes it's about catching not fishing or how you waan catch them !!! Just saying.
It isn’t as simple as adapting to this new style of fishing. You couldn’t tell Shaq to play like Steph Curry. They have different skill set and different strengths. No matter how much Shaq works on shooting 3-pointers he is never going to be a shooter. Or have a Coal Miner go and work for a AI company with the same level of productivity.
