Dude thanks for inspiring me to start Pike fishing again, I've fished all my life but only course fishing not really predator fishing. the last time i caught a Pike on a lure the Pike started rolling in the landing net, the hooks got caught up in the net and was a nightmare to unhook I had to cut my net and basically cut the treble hooks too, luckily the Pike was ok but it put me off Pike fishing for a while. I've recently bought an Abu Garcia Black Max reel after watching your "How to use a Baitcaster reel" video and I tested it out today and done ok with it but didn't stay out too long as it was pissing down! I like that you list the tackle you use in the description its a great help. Thanks man.
Great video, very entertaining as always. Your videos are like the fishing shows of forty years ago, you actually show what what you're doing. The fishing shows here in Canada show nothing, only fish getting pulled from the water, I never noticed any swearing, shows what my vocabulary is like.

Just a suggestion for future videos where you use multiple lures. When you put on a new lure you could put some text up on the screen to say the name of the lure if someone else want's to buy the same one it'll make it easier to find.

Nice day of fishing You had! MIURAS MOUSE....was wondering....really so great lure? The price of the lure is just insane (around 32 GBP in Poland). For a price of one mouse you can have 2/3 decent lures (percy the perch from westin for example?) Really worth the money??
I remember that stretch all to well gave me and my pal our worst session ever hiding under that bridge as it was razzing down blowing a gale we walked miles in it and only had one touch between us was awful lol had better days since like but never ventured that far down again lol
Would you bait fish the canals just now or would you recommend lures until winter im having no luck at all using all methods baits depths etc ? Ours canals in Scotland are very weedy so lure fishing is a challenge? Any help would be grateful ? For pike obviously

The only lure fishing I’ve done recently is off the rocks in Scotland for Coalies, Pollock and the odd Wrasse (ok, one single Wrasse). Switching to single hooks made unhooking so much easier and was almost always able to pull out of snags.

I fished the Lancaster canal! Been out 5 times recently and caught bugger all. Extremely demoralising at the minute !!
Thats why its called fishing and not catching mate. Hang in there and put the hours in and you'll have days where you get a few when they're feeding.
