Gears was my first ever console game, big fan, Ive played all gears, was expecting gears 6, not a prequel! Its also emergence day not emergency!

That Gears of War: E-Day trailer blew me away... at first. Then it dawned on me: prequel? Seriously? Gears 5 left us hanging, and now we gotta wait another seven years (or longer) to pick things back up? That's some BS!!
Imagine if E-Day was a massive Gears 5 expansion leading straight into Gears 6 next year! That would have been epic! But nope, here we are staring down a nearly decade-long wait to get back in the fight.
Don't get me wrong, I'll be playing it day one... duh.
