I have a Chromebook and not a laptop that has Windows. Can I still get the update for the lens and transfer it to a SD card so that I can put it in the camera. Thanks Super great video that other people don’t tell me.
@@tomgodzik8951 you will need an SD card reader to transfer the file from your computer to memory card. But before that download Z Archiver from Google play store , extract the download file then transfer it to the memory card via SD card reader . I hope this helps.
The lens is doing pretty well now. I was not able to test it in a very cold region.i went Malaysia on hill station , it was kinda cold and humid and lens performed better from my trip to turkey..Malaysia was more dense jungle and lens didn't freeze . So I guess the FW is doing it's part.. real test will be in Winters in next few months as I reside in Middleeeast.
@@worldandthewild Glad to hear that the FW is working good. Ok, yeah i can imagine this conditions where humid and dense - but this is for sure a good test already i guess. The winter will come ;) - Thanks for sharing and the quick response. Have a great day and always good light ;)

Hey, thanks for sharing this video. How is the lens performing so far with the new FW?

That update solved nothing. 180-600 is plagued with issues and simply not a sharp lens.
@@BigFoot-w4d it was not exactly for sharpness but not focusing…. If yiu have sharpness issue try switching off AFtune .
