I think you'll find that's a myth put about by contributors to the BBC Have Your Say online. I'd like somebody to demonstrate that it is actually and has always been true. Murray is merely picking up on the myth, not acknowledging that it has any substance.

@@tonybennett4159 Nah, the same 'joke' has long existed in much the same style re: Australia/ns & New Zealand/ers & the Kiwis' fondness for claiming that we claim all of their fellow Kiwis once they're successful (eg Russell Crowe, although he himself has long referred to himself as an Aussie)...& as we often joke down here re: Russell Crowe, whenever he fucks up, THEN he's a New Zealander!!
Sorry, they were all just mildly amusing. I can remember, however, when they did a Wimbledon promo and they asked the top players: "How do you eat your strawberrries?" Federer: "With cream", Djokovic: "With cream of course", Nadal: "With cream" and Murray: "With mah fingers." --- Now THAT was hilariously deadpan!

Just watched "Resurfaced," which at points is quite poignant, but there's a segment in which Andy shares his "art," which is hysterical.

Many people underrate Andy as one of the greatest of the history, but c'mon, this guy has been so unlucky. Every time he needs to defend a GS title, get injured, was part of a generation of Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, when he was world number 1 and was having the best time of his career (almost 30 y/o) he gets injured. Andy, amazing player, great champion and very charismatic.
