I’ve flown on a 787 three times. Twice with El-Al (Israel 787-9) and once with LOT Polish (787-8). The technology of the plane is next level stuff. The quietness of the engines on takeoff and landing is amazing. Makes it very comfortable. Update: In May of 2023, I flew on the 787 once again with Qantas Airways from LAX to MEL. It was a good experience. They had a good IFE system and I didn’t even use it on the entire 15 and a half hour flight from Los Angeles to Australia. I tried my best to sleep because if you leave LAX on a Sunday night, you land in Australia on TUESDAY morning. You skip an entire day on the way there. I was tired on that first day there but I managed to stay awake the entire day, I went to bed at night and then by the next morning, I was completely adjusted to the new time zone.
@@randomknife4667 no, they'd plan ahead for that, snacks don't really cost that much and you actually typically go through less if you just have a free-for-all snack bar because people won't always get up and get to the snack bar, compared to if you walk around the cabin to lass out the snacks
Air Canada did a "test" they sold flight from Tel Aviv to New York and Montreal for 70$ for one way (both flights are 12 hours flight and the average cost of them is around 1500$) and it was sold out in less then a hour... lol I almost flew to New York...
I’ve flown on the 787-9 twice (EL-AL) and the 787-8 once (LOT Polish). It’s amazing how quiet the engines on the 787 are. It’s the most comfortable aircraft I’ve ever flown on.
Nicu Je87 yeah, Air Canada really is one of the best airlines out there. A safety video with bilingual instructions (English and Quebec French), nice first class service, IFE systems with...okay selections (sorry, it's just that when I was on a 3-hour flight from Vancouver to Toronto when I was going to New York City, I looked at the children's movie selection and there were only seven movies available, and they were ones I didn't like, like Brave, Rise Of The Guardians and Nickelodeon's Barnyard. When it comes to IFE systems, I personally prefer the ones WestJet provides)
I agree, Air Canada's new livery is too simple. Black paint on the tail where the Air Canada logo and most of the plane is plain white. At least their old livery had that fancy pattern on it
I'm a bit late, but I must say I really loved your trip report and I found it both exciting and enjoyable (although I wonder which editing program you're using and if you recommend it). Consider yourself a new subscriber from Sweden. ☺
YEAH!! The "Dreamliner" simply IS a very beautiful and magical plane. Unfortunately unlike you and until today I hadn,t had the opportunity to fly with the Boeing 787. It,s a pleasure for me you have had a comfortable stay on board. And I am much more in love with the brandnew "Air Canada" paint-sheme.
Wow the 45 minute wifi is very annoying. In Halifax where I live there's super fast free wifi. By the way you should fly to Halifax sometime! (Its in Canada)
Great Tripreport, thanks for sharing ! :) I did not expect Air Canada to offer complimentary drinks only on a 4 hours flight from the US to Canada ... I expected a complimentary inflight meal :o
Awesome video man, huge fan of the channel! Keep up the good work Bro! And I forget to rip off old baggage tags too haha. I'm 22 and last month I literally found a bag I used when I was 13 that still had its American Airlines tag on it lol
+Niels Damen Thank you! Glad you like our content. We have flown with KLM twice so far. Just check our KLM Trip Reports playlist. The videos are a bit old though :D
We've already published a couple of A350 Trip Reports (Lufthansa, Qatar, China Airlines). We were even on the special flight of Lufthansa's first A350. All these videos can be found on our channel. We will also fly Singapore Airlines A350 this year.
Awesome video, I really appreciated it! I'm flying to Scotland soon and I'm trying to choose an airline, so this was insightful about AC. (Although I do know on those flights there's some complimentary food.) Question though... why not just bring a water bottle? Platypus and Hydrapak make ones which roll or compress up tiny to save room and most airports these days have water bottle refilling stations on their airsides. :)
Stan BP RaNia you only have to learn Canadian French if you're traveling to Quebec. Anywhere else in Canada, it's okay to speak English. Not only that, in Quebec, it's illegal to display ads in English so they have to be written in French!
Stan BP RaNia but if you really want to go somewhere exciting, go to Vancouver. Vancouver is an amazing city, and it was the host city of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Lots of exciting places to visit, like the Lonsdale Quay marketplace, Granville Island, Stanley Park, Science World, BC Place, Playland at the PNE...the list goes on!
The only 2 places they speak french are New Brunswick and Quebec, other than that everywhere else in English but QC and NB are also bilingual. English you 'll have no problems
nice i love Germany, iam from Porto Portugal, but i have family in germany, and i been there 7 times near to suiss frontier koblenz but in german side calls whaldshut . ( near big city its Freiburg ) you can count on me likes and share all videos. see ya :) and thanks for reply my coments, its a pleasure.
Yes we´re watching Felix von der Ladens vlogs. But at first we heard this music in videos of Casey Neistat about one year ago. Felix von der Laden is using Andrew Applepie´s music only about one month now. ;-)
The Trip Report of the Air Canada tranatlantic flight from Toronto to Munich will be uploaded in October. If you want to know which Trip Report will be published at next check out our website; flightexperience.jimdo.com/upload-schedule/
The Boeing 787-9 really is one of the most beautiful airplanes I've ever seen. Its curved wings almost look like those on a bird!
You ever been on a bird?😂 😂 😂
I want ot fly it
I’ve flown on a 787 three times. Twice with El-Al (Israel 787-9) and once with LOT Polish (787-8). The technology of the plane is next level stuff. The quietness of the engines on takeoff and landing is amazing. Makes it very comfortable.

Thanks for showing us almost the entire safety video, literally!
I think they should have complimentary light snacks/meal for flights of more than 2 hours.
Jeffre Blanco They do, they have free drinks and snack son all flights
@@randomknife4667 no, they'd plan ahead for that, snacks don't really cost that much and you actually typically go through less if you just have a free-for-all snack bar because people won't always get up and get to the snack bar, compared to if you walk around the cabin to lass out the snacks

Why I didn´t know from this test. I would have bought a ticket! ;-)
2:49 Music perfectly synchronized with the screens in the terminal.
I love that "BlueIce" paint job, very classy
I’ve flown on the 787-9 twice (EL-AL) and the 787-8 once (LOT Polish). It’s amazing how quiet the engines on the 787 are. It’s the most comfortable aircraft I’ve ever flown on.
Nice TripReport!! Great views. Best regards from Oporto, Portugal
Thank you!
I like the old livery. It's just classy
Awesome trip report! I love the 787 and I love Toronto!
Thank you! Never visited Toronto...
Well air canada is the best company in north america. And yes the 787 is very beautiful. Nice video bro....like
Thanks!
Nicu Je87 yeah, Air Canada really is one of the best airlines out there. Jasmine Johnston the flight from Vancouver to Toronto is more like 5 hours.
Jasmine Johnston but why not more to drink? On german airlines it’s normal to get a drink service every hour. Even in low cost airlines
Hawaiian Airlines is consistently ranked best airline in NA
4:08 that is 1 of my favs.
An awesome video as always mate! You never fail to impress :).
Thank you very much!
FlightExperience really cool vid
I like the old livery but the new one is starting to grow on me...
Also I wonder why the flaps are still down when pulling into the gate at LAX?
I agree, Air Canada's new livery is too simple. Black paint on the tail where the Air Canada logo and most of the plane is plain white. At least their old livery had that fancy pattern on it
Jasmine Johnston
Idiot. 🖕
Flaps are down due to the outside air temperature.
Will Anderson and
Flaps and temperature .?
Great Report! Air Canada's 787s easily have one of the best Inflight Entertainment Systems for Economy or Premium Economy, of any airline.
Thanks a lot!
New livery is so badass
It's always great to fly the 787 on this route, very nice indeed. Thanks for sharing, great report.
Thanks for watching!
I'm a bit late, but I must say I really loved your trip report and I found it both exciting and enjoyable (although I wonder which editing program you're using and if you recommend it). Consider yourself a new subscriber from Sweden. ☺
I just flew on the 787-9 for the first time!! EWR-TLV with EL AL.
Awesome video mate!
WOW!!! This is so well made!
Thank you :)
Fantastic review as always :) Nice seat choice , that wing flex is stunning ! Would love to try the 787-9 someday , I've only flown on the 787-8 .
Thank you very much!
You are welcome , looking forward to the next report
Awesome ! LOVE watching plane videos!
Hey everyone. Hope you're having a great day!
Great video, I can't wait to fly the Dreamliner again!
Thank you!
Awesome video! I like both liveries and I hope to be able to fly on Air Canada sometime soon. :)
Thank you!
Very nice video!
The 787 is the best plane!
You are the best! :D
Thank you!
Lovely video. The 787 is a remarkable aircraft. I hope you visit Jamaica sometime in the future and maybe do a video just like that. Spot on mate!!
Thanks! There are no trips planned to Jamaica, yet. But we would love to go there one day.
Awesome! cant wait
Boeing 787-9 is so beautiful!!!
Definitely the new livery!
About the drink situation, you can always press the ding button... We always fly Westjet and they always do multiple drink services
Yes, of course you can press the button but this is not the definition of a good service.
Great review of Air Canada! The 787-9 is a beautiful aircraft.
Thank you! The 787-9 is one of my favourite aircraft!
I like Air Canada's Boeing 787-9
ya i like the old livery. the new one throws away the already awesome visor of the 787.
It always feels nice chilling in the sky!!
Awesome video I love the old livery
nice video yet again. Just bought this Camcorder today, which setting would you suggest?
cheers :)
It depends on what you want to film. But make sure the stabilization is on!
I prefer the old livery yes 💪
Wow the 45 minute wifi is very annoying. In Halifax where I live there's super fast free wifi. By the way you should fly to Halifax sometime! (Its in Canada)
Nice tripreport once again👍🏻
Thank you very much!
Great Tripreport, thanks for sharing ! :)
I did not expect Air Canada to offer complimentary drinks only on a 4 hours flight from the US to Canada ... I expected a complimentary inflight meal :o
Thanks a lot! Air Canada offers this kind of service on domestic and all "Canada - US" flights. Maybe on Caribbean routes too.
Awesome video man, huge fan of the channel! Keep up the good work Bro! And I forget to rip off old baggage tags too haha. I'm 22 and last month I literally found a bag I used when I was 13 that still had its American Airlines tag on it lol
Thanks a lot! Yeah, something like that happened to me a couple of times :D
FlightExperience welcome! And ueah oh just slips your mind I guess
I like the new livery by alot!!!
I always enjoys flying with Air Canada
The plane on the map is an A320 with 787 wings. Very strange.
10:30 Would they accept US$ as well as CAN$ on outbound flights from the US?
Yes.
4:06 "May I have your attention - the terminal" ????
great vid keep up the good work cant wait fir the next
Thank you very much!
zroit plays do you play if
I'm about to fly Air Canada from Brisbane - Vancouver. Hope it's decent for this 14 hour flight...
I have been on this flight and I wanted to check it out and I think that it is a wonderful and great flight
thanks for wonderful share ,, i am traveling in april . so excited for this sexy ride on dreamliner
Safe travels and thanks for watching!
excellent flight report.Old livery looks nicer than the new one.
Thank you!
Wo holt ihr eure Time-laps Musik her? Ich finde die total entspannend :D

FlightExperience Danke! :D
Nice video! I'm new on your channel and it looks pritty nice. Have you ever flown KLM?
+Niels Damen Thank you! Glad you like our content. We have flown with KLM twice so far. Just check our KLM Trip Reports playlist. The videos are a bit old though :D
Allright, thank you :)
I fly on Air Canada a lot, infact I'm going to Toronto in a few days. I like the new livery but the old is is still pretty good.
That’s cool you’re flying on an Air Canada 787 9 to
I like the new livery a little bit more the old one still looks awesome
4:50 $30 for seat reservation is a tad much OML. Jetstar is like $5 and I thought thsy was bad
19:28, why the hell are the spoilers half on went the plane is parking?
I don´t know but I´ve often seen it when 787 are parking.
FlightExperience ok thanks
I do like the new look of Air Canada, especially on the 787-9 I flew on. It's really sharp.
Hey! U make really nice videos! Will u try gulf air a320neo economy would love a review from u!😊
Thank you! That's a very rare airline. Would love to check them out!
whats the song ? i love it
Just have a look at the video description! ;-) Thanks for watching!
The dreamliner is amazing
Nice flight, excellent video
Thank you, Bobby!
I’ve flown on C-FRSA twice!
Also I wish to someday fly on a 787... the biggest plane I've been on was an air canada 767-300er from Halifax to London Heath row
MonkHQ 787 is actually about the same size since it's a replacement for the 757s
The 787 is a replacement for the 767 and competes against the a330.
The 757 has no replacement yet (A321LR in the near future; 797?)
ohh right right, mixed up those two; and yes a 797 is in development apparently
Yeah, it’s in development, however it’s hasn’t been disclosed what’s the market it’ll aim for :)
no but it's pretty obvious they're making a 757 replacement, there's no other marker segment left that they haven't modernized very recently
Very nice video with so much information..
Thanks!
Very nice video! I too prefer the old livery
+AirlineTraveller Thank you :)
Personally. I think it looks better and I like the old livery of Air Canada. Your videos are excellent. Greetings from Colombia. 😃👍🇨🇴
+Andrés Medina Thank you very much! Greetings back from Germany :D
hope to have a chance to try all the Main Airlines of different countries
I love the Airbus A350...Hope you can Get the Chance to fly in 1 soon.
We've already published a couple of A350 Trip Reports (Lufthansa, Qatar, China Airlines). We were even on the special flight of Lufthansa's first A350. All these videos can be found on our channel. We will also fly Singapore Airlines A350 this year.
Definitely like the new livery
You have nice flight from Los Angeles to Toronto.
Nice trip report!
The 787 is also my favourite
Thank you!
Same
+Sergie 123 What's wrong with you? 😲
+Sergie 123 But it's still the best! 😋
i like the new livery
Awesome video, I really appreciated it! I'm flying to Scotland soon and I'm trying to choose an airline, so this was insightful about AC. (Although I do know on those flights there's some complimentary food.) Question though... why not just bring a water bottle? Platypus and Hydrapak make ones which roll or compress up tiny to save room and most airports these days have water bottle refilling stations on their airsides. :)
If you're going to Scotland with Air Canada you'll get a Rouge 767-300, not a 787
I'm actually planning a trip to Canada next year. Should I learn some French? Or is English ok to get by?
It depends on the part you will be visiting. At some places, French could be better.
Canada has two official languages English and French.
Amazing video I flew with air canada last year from London to Montreal I prefer the old livery! don't like the new livery
Thanks! We prefer the old livery too!
I was literally just at LAX two days ago! Lol
Wow I really wanna try out Air Canada sometimes soon. It looks so good :)
There are better airlines in the world! But the whole experience is amazing!
FlightExperience it's not the best or the worst
Fly Around Please choose Premium Economy because the regular Economy Class in that plane is GARBAGE
Fly Around I live in Canada and take Air Canada all the time, the cabin may look nice but service is usually pretty crappy.
I prefer the old one too
I had gone into the new air Canada in ECONOMY class it feels like business class
I prefer the new livary !! It looks new and trendy !!! Changes should be welcomed
Thanks for watching and sharing your opinion! ;-)
just subscrived youi channel.. amazing videos. keep the good work you have a fan here from Portugal ;)
Thank you! Portugal is an awesome country! I visited Lisbon and Porto last year. Awesome cities!
thanks for your comment. nice videos love it. where you from?
Thank you again! We're from Germany, living about one hour away from Munich! ;-)
nice i love Germany, iam from Porto Portugal, but i have family in germany, and i been there 7 times near to suiss frontier koblenz but in german side calls whaldshut . ( near big city its Freiburg ) you can count on me likes and share all videos. see ya :) and thanks for reply my coments, its a pleasure.
Thanks again! We´re glad you're enjoying our videos. Have a nice evening!
Can you do with Air Algerie please.
Thank you for watching and your recommendation. Maybe we will fly Air Algerie in the future! ;-)
A little question: Do you watch Felix Laden?... because it seems that you use almost the same music as him. (no hate inspiring is always ok)
Yes we´re watching Felix von der Ladens vlogs. But at first we heard this music in videos of Casey Neistat about one year ago. Felix von der Laden is using Andrew Applepie´s music only about one month now. ;-)
Welches Schnittprogramm benutzen sie?
Wir benutzen Magix Video deluxe 2016.
FlightExperience
Danke :)
when's the transatlantic leg flight?
The Trip Report of the Air Canada tranatlantic flight from Toronto to Munich will be uploaded in October. If you want to know which Trip Report will be published at next check out our website; flightexperience.jimdo.com/upload-schedule/
The only thing I didn't like about your video was the needless demonstration of the IFE. I enjoyed the rest of it.
Great video. FYI: I know the drink service is limited but you can always get as many as you want on domestic flights. Trust me, I do it all the time.
Hello FlightExpirience, i prefer the old livery way nicer blue color.... now its a black shady look ughhhh!!!
In Singapore Airport the wifi is 3 hours not 45 minutes and if you have I changi app it's 24 hours
How do you know when the plane was delivered to the airline ?
You can use planespotters.net for that. Just type in the aircraft registration and you have all information about the airplane.
FlightExperience that’s awesome. Thanks for the quick reply
You're welcome!
Do you need to pay for the music or series?
No, but we asked all composers if we can use their work!
Why You don't fligth with Alitalia??
+N1ck's There are currently no flights planned with Alitalia, but we would love to fly them one day.
I'm gonna fly in air Canada later today! :D
Have a nice flight!
Kind of a weird question but how tall are you? So I can imagine how the leg room really looks like...
About 6.1ft/ 1,86m
Nice to see
4:03 i prefer the old one
