Make sure you ceiling fan is on the right setting, either summer/winter. There’ll be a little switch on it, it makes it spin the right way and circulate the air properly so it’s not just circulation hot air :)

If this is a rental house, please make sure to always let your property manager know about every single detail you will do with the house (examples: Drilling into the walls to put frames, sticking wall tapes or wallpapers etc.) I used to be a property manager here in Queensland. As an Aussie it gets so hot here and that's why my house has ducted air conditioning so there's a vent in every room and a control panel you can set a temperatures for the hole house and the hole house will stay at that temperature until you turn it off its definitely good idea to look into that if i was you.

You can open your pantry door by pulling the latch where the silver part is. It becomes a finger pull. A cavity slider can be fully hidden in the wall

Aussie here. The pantry door will have a pop up metal thing so you can pull it out when it’s open and sunk into the cavity.
