I actually like this. It’s more incisive to get that limited 5* it’s kinda like what Furina did for Jean teams. Maybe I will wish on Cloud Retainer banner since I actually like Diluc and having a decent team for him is one of my goals.
Would you consider ditching out crimson witch of flames for shimenawa's? Like, I'd never forgive myself because I farmed cwof for so long... but maybe using e once and doing exclusively pluge attacks could be better than trying to fit his burst and skills into the rotation. I'm looking forward to your findings. I'll be pulling for c2 wish me (my wallet) luck!!!
Personally, since my CW set is a lot better than my Shim set I'll probably stick with that. Shim can only be good if you have C6 Bennett, but in that case I think there's an argument for it being better depending on what the rotation looks like. I think there's merit to using all 3 skills to generate energy for the team and especially help with Bennett's energy though, and I think there's enough rotation time to justify it. If you're using Furina it's likely that 4 pc MH will be the best option, but again I've already farmed such a good CW set that it's hard to replace and I wouldn't want to have to swap artifacts when I'm not using Furina.
I have C6 Kaeya, and I want to make a Diluc Kaeya team like yours but I don't have Kazuha c2. Do you think Xianyun can replace Kazuha in that melt team? And will the team's power increase or decrease between using C0 Xianyun to replace C0 Kazuha?
i m hoping win her 50/50 my diluc can hit 78k melt plunge lv8 talent i wont realy care if she cant make diluc meta or something but it would be fun to do the dragon strike combos consistently
about kaeya part, you said he's cryo application isn't good when doing plunge atk because they're follow you midair. i think in some situation like versus boss monster, kaeya application still good when pairing him up with xianyun because most boss are huge
Was honestly shocked to see how high Diluc's damage gets with her (mimicked her buff in the optimizer), looking at like 200k+ plunges. I really hope her coordinated attacks doesn't mess with Furina's hydro too much.
Hmm there'd definitely be a trade off there since you won't be getting furina's dmg bonus in exchange for hu tao being above 50%. I think it'll still be decent though
I was thinking of running Kazuha, Xianyun and ditching Benny because of his circle being a potential liability. Won't Kazuha hydro infused burst be enough to proc vaps?
If you want to ditch bennett, I think doing furina+yelan/xingqiu+xianyun would be better, as kazuha is only bringing some hydro dmg bonus and grouping. Xingqiu/yelan instead help Furina's dmg by lowering ER requirements and providing hydro resonance, make vapes super consistent, and do a decent amount of dmg themselves.

Wolf's Gravestone and Redhorn Stonethresher which is the best Diluc? The first one can buff both the Diluc and the Adept and increase her buff . So Diluc will get two power-ups. The second one is just a stable option.
The WGS team buff would be good if it was at the start, but it will only proc when enemies are already low hp. The thing about her buff is it doesnt scale at all with Diluc's atk, so WGS's atk% stats for Diluc don't have as much value. While redhorn's passive doesn't work on plunges, its cdmg stat actually scales with xianyun's flat dmg buff. So, I think redhorn will still be better, but a cdmg 5 star weapon with a dmg% passive would be even better if it ever comes out.

For Diluc specifically? Xianyun is the obvious choice. For your account as a whole nahida likely has more value assuming you run navia 1 side and dendro 2nd side.
Is Xianyun, Shenhe, Kaeya or Rosaria a good team for plunge Diluc? I have a C4 Rosaria with Jade Spear and a C1 Kaeya with Mistsplitter which I got in the previous banner.
He mentioned that Rosaria's application is too slow. It's only every 2 seconds. You can spam 8 plunges in that burst window or else you run out of buffs. Kaeya on the other hand, while he applies more frequently, the problem is you jump so the icicles follow you. Ganyu may work, but has ICD problems. Needs testing
Best thing for this, as the burst of Diluc takes too long to cast. Bennett's C6 will give 15% Pyro DMG bonus so you won't lose as much without the burst. And your C6 Bennett will let Dehya do at least decent damage compared to her current state

How do you feel about the squad with Dione instead of Furina? Will the kitty be able to consistently impose cryo status on enemies with her explosion of elements? Do I need to use auto attacks or an elemental skill in rotation with Bayonetta? Will Bennett be superfluous in such squads due to the low mobility of his ulta? How do you spend skills in a squad with Furina? And the oath of freedom gives 16% to the attack in the fall, is it worth using it?
Diona alone isn't enough cryo application. You'll want to use his skill at some point but no reason to do normal attacks. Bennett's circle is the same here as any other team, I think he'll be worth using in most cases just like in current teams. The furina team rotation I'll try to figure out when xianyun comes out, theres stuff that needs testing to figure out.

We might actually get a set in the future that buffs Plunge DMG, since plunge meta is what they seem to be going for with Cloud.

Will she be good with Hu Tao and no Furina? Maybe in something like Hu Tao- Yelan/Xingqiu- Xianyun- Zhongli/double hydro

There's nothing to regret with a C6 Benny unless you main Eula or Keqing, even then there are other options that would fit in for those Eula teams
