my dad and his whole family are from the city and growing up I heard a lot about it. Before this series I thought I had a good knowledge about the city, but now after binge watching the videos I realize that I have a lot to learn locations wise. This has been a great series so far!
Hi ithinkyouknow, do you think that when you get to the location of where the singer tower was you could place an asset there for a few to see what it would look like if the singer tower still stood
I've actually already built the block where the singer building used to be. I might do a historical buildings video at some point but a lot of work needed to get there to manage ram and assets
@@ithinkyouknow depends on how you define finish 😅 I recently built Brussels in a similar way but I’ve had to eventually quit because of reaching road limits etc so you’ll probably encounter that as well at some point
I created my overlays using Google Map Customizer (chengfolio). I don't remember the resolution. I have different overlays for different neighborhoods with more or less detail

The passion, dedication, and attention to detail is incredible. Keep up the good work!
Thank you!
id love to see Times Square soon! great vid as always man :)
Def soon. I want to do 42nd Times Square Grand central all at once
Crazy how one little build spiked the population so much. Love watching this build grow, easily the best one I am following right now.
Very good work, and in addition, you do a lot of details in your city. this series is extremely underrated
Wow, amazing stuff - always amazed by Manhattan and the density. $5k a month for one of these pretty utilitarian looking apartments is mad.
And to think, you only need to prove you make $200k a year to get that $5k apartment...
Very impressive, I used to rent an apartment at Stuytown and I gotta say that is identical to real life!
omg i live in the area and I can't tell you how uncanny this is lol well done
Hi ithinkyouknow, ill be watching this tomorrow morning, looking forward to this
Well I mean. First. Just got back from NYC btw, lovely as always!
That's fantastic i love it
I think it’s cool the cars overlap the bus lane in ny they drive in the bus lane lmfaoao
Another great video! I was wondering, will you include the finished 2nd avenue subway line in the final build?
This is a great idea. Something I will do in the future
I found a huge mistake! These cylinders on the 4 buildings near the center of Stuy Town, the cylinder on the down left building is misplased.
Huge! I'll take a second look when I load up the save next thanks
Love it man like always
Nice not nice 😂 I like it.
awesome

Nice Video! Which Map Theme do you use for the Manhattan Map?
Question: Are most of the avenues in nyc one way? I know most of the cross town streets are, alternating but I wasn’t clear on the avenues
Almost all of them are one-way for most of their length. Wasn't like that back in the day though
Billionaires row?
Someone stayed around for the live play....
@@ithinkyouknow I’ve been waiting for a while for it to be built since It’s got the most interesting buildings in the us
How Do You Move The Block Services On Top Of Each Other?
Move it mod
Do you think you will build red hook at any point
I think the map clips off before there unfortunately. Will be building a lot of other Brooklyn though
This looks amazing! Do you plan on releasing the save when the series is finished?
You think I'll actually ever finish it? Haha...

Dear Ithinkyouknow,
I have two questions regarding your overlay/street map:
How did you create it?
And what size and resolution does it have?
I created my overlays using Google Map Customizer (chengfolio). I don't remember the resolution. I have different overlays for different neighborhoods with more or less detail
