I have this system in my new TT-02R build. My first Tamiya build, one of my first hobby-grade RC cars. I'm very excited to try it out.

I have some tips on that setup from what I learned drag racing that could help.
You can change the rotor in the motor with one from Maclan. They have a sheilded rotor and also a high torque rotor. This will help spin it faster without blowing the Kevlar wrapt castle rotor.
At the moment I don’t think the castle cobra likes un-sensored or smart sense. Testing it I found smart sense drew a tone of amps. So full sensored is the way to go for now.
In drag racing we hit those motors with 100deg timing. The castle version will only give you 45deg. There is a ghost version that will give you 120deg. I tested this with a 10.t motor and it’s was pretty crazy.
The logging at 20hz is a game changer! And how it shows the timing being added really helps to get the best out of the motor.

Thanks for the tip. I tried uncensored and it cogged really bad. There's a ghost software for this esc?

@@theetonster the ghost software can’t be used on castle versions. The ghost esc is a little different as it has different hardware.
The cobra currently is not great at all un-sensored. They are working on it though. But to get the most timing you need to use full sensored mode anyway.

Probably good for drag racing but I don't think it's a speedrun ESC.

    Shew!
Put that thing in CHEAT add all 45deg start around 5,000 rpm and all in by 75,000!
    Let it eat.
