For the last few days, I couldn't stop listening to the covers of the songs you'd made and I got scolded so many times for listening to the songs instead of studying...(exams😭😭) and I thought 'Man if this guy composed something it would definitely be even awesomer (is that a word?) than his covers.' So why don't you try doing something original? I'm sure it'll be great!!😊😊
I do have some original piano compositions that I want to eventually put on TH-cam! Right now my plan for 2018 is to get my subscriber count up by covering a bunch of popular songs and then putting out some original stuff, that way the original songs will get viewed by more people (as they aren't likely to get views from searches, related videos, etc.) And thanks for listening to my covers, be sure to study for your exams as well though! Maybe my covers can be study music? :)
aSongScout Dude your covers can never be study music, they would distract me with the crescendos and the and the intricate handwork and I'd pay more attention to them than the boring Russian Revolution chapter that I have. I literally have to order my brain to go on mute or else I'd be listening to them even in my mind. It almost puts me in a trance. I was so embarassed when my friend caught me dancing to your Ready For It cover...😑😑

It's a pop song converted into piano and stays pretty mono rhythmic (listen to the bass line, no changes there in metre fam). So what even is this comment

Polyrhythms occur when you have a different organization of beats happening simultaneously in a song. About halfway through this piece, there is a part where his right hand is playing two notes per beat, while his left hand is playing three notes per beat. More than one rhythm = polyrhythm.

Love the arrangement but was curious, why did you choose 3/4 for the time signature instead of 6/8?

89 Cent Slushies I feel like the strong beat is the first beat in 3/4 time. This would be a slow 6/8 with weak beats? Idk if that makes sense😂
because 6/8 reduces to 3/4 heh
Andy Woan Well in math, yes. But in music, no. A 3/4 time signature indicates 3 strong beats. Ex. 1 a 2 a 3 a. 6/8 is a measure of two beats with a subdivision of three. Ex. 1 and a 2 and a. I would even notate this song as 12/8 because there is a strong 1 in every 2 bars. You can even tell the way the eighth notes are beamed that it’s clearly 6/8 and not 3/4.
