The Roland Octapad is a hugely powerful bit of kit so we asked Craig Blundell from Roland to come along and show us what it could do. We were keen to explore how we could use Acoustic Triggers to enhance our live playing sound.
The ultimate trigger pad to augment acoustic/electric percussion, or to play as solo percussionist. Instead of having to worry about buying extra stands, mics and exotic percussion pieces, condense all your extra-percussion needs with this highly intelligent and versatile system.
The Octopad is an entire world of percussion in a pad not much bigger than a laptop. The new Octapad even has multi-effects and a phrase looper for practice, or for layering your sounds to create new textures live.
