Thank you! Given none of the major chains can be bothered to do bulb services (at least not easily!) I’ve decided to fix mine myself using your video. I usually do end up doing these things when I find out how easy they are! Great instructions!
@@joeyismetoo Glad the vid was a help! I have a Picasso Playlist and a C3 Playlist if you’re bored over Christmas 😂 There’s probably not enough money for the garages to bother with the bulbs, maybe they get more profit from other jobs. Personally, i would change them for free so you would return for the bigger jobs. I don’t think corporate companies can see that 🙄 Thanks for watching! Sandy.
Thanks for the awesome explanation and handy tricks, especially useful for first-timers. Really appreciate it! Please keep making more videos about the Citroen C3 Picasso. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for positive feedback 😎 I’m trying to keep the videos where anybody who is willing to have a go (and they’ve got the tools) could carry out the job using my vid. As it happens, i’m sat eating my lunch after working on the Picasso for this Saturdays video 😉 Saturday evening 7:30pm 👍
A very clear video for the beginner, I have a 59 plate C3 Picasso I bought a year ago, but I have an ongoing problem with it stalling suddenly when driving it, I have had all the senors checked and changed if not working, I have also had changed the fuel filter , the air filter , pollution filter etc. but it still occassionally stalls at times in the most dangerous of places such as motorways where I only drive in the slow lane and am very cautious of overtaking anything, it also seems that if you press to hard to accelerate, it will stall, so I was wondering if you have had this problem and if so if you found out what was causing it.
@@IanPowell-v8k Sorry for the delay in responding. These faults can be very frustrating 😡 I’ve not experienced this fault myself on my Picasso or my sons C3. A couple of questions… Do you have any fault lights/codes? Does it mainly happen when trying to accelerate fast/full throttle? What level of diagnostics have you had? Sandy.
Hello Sandy . It's a weird problem because one day you can be driving around country lanes changing gears and the car is driving great, but the next time you use it , like a few days ago coming down the M5 it cut out twice , luckily I was in the slow lane so was able to pull onto the hard shoulder. The fault code which comes on says pollution fault which I have been told is a generic code. As I said I have had any sensors that are faulty changed plus all the filters including th pollution one, the only part we haven't done is had the fuel tank cleaned out. I would add this is a 1.6 HDI diesel . Any ideas would be welcome. Ian.
@@IanPowell-v8k I’m away visiting my son at uni atm. I’ll have a look under my car when we get back and see if it’s got an anti-pollution additive bag/bladder. Maybe an avenue to explore. Are you able to drive it for 30 mins at a constant 2500 rpm? This will make the car re-gen the dpf.
@@gilberesrepairs Thanks for your reply apparently according to the garage I take it to, this car doesn't have a DPF, it has a catalytic converter. Do you drive your car fairly fast so you keep up the revs or more sedately I ask this because I also own a 24ft Motorhome which has been my only source of transport for 24 years until I bought the car. The motorhome is basic engineering and is very forgiving if you are in the wrong gear or the revs are low, whereas the car seems much more sensitive if you are in the wrong gear or the revs are low, I seem to be driving the car like the motorhome, so I'm now wondering if that is the problem. Sorry to bother you with this but you seem to know about C3 Picasso's Ian
@@IanPowell-v8k Hello Ian I’ve just had a quick look under my car and it definitely has an additive tank and a dpf. My car is a 2012 with the 1.6 hdi engine fitted. The tank contains a bladder of fluid i think. The key word if you want to search about it is… EOLYS Fluid. As your fault code comes up with an anti pollution fault this could be an avenue to research or investigate. There’s plenty of vids on TH-cam about these bags of fluid. Have you driven the car for 25 mins at steady 2500 rpm? If you go to my channel, then go onto the community tab, i’ve taken a pic of the tank on my car 👍
@@samborrill9305 I’m unsure as i cannot find the information. But, i would look in the fuse box under the bonnet. Just to the right of the battery is a fuse box that does contain some lighting fuses. They are… Fuses 15 16 17 and 18. The brake lights maybe tied into those circuits somehow, but i’m only guessing. If you do find it’s on one of those circuits, let us know so others can use the info 👍
