I highly agree, they need to add cooking mechanic, added a fishing rod as a basic fish catching item and some improvements, I hope the incoming crafting mechanic will be gain some temporaty boost in the future, this will be game changing
I really wish they went through with the crafting and cooking system because it'd tie into the SAO gameplay, and I just love systems that have crafting and cooking.
Rotation and movement lock are a thing when setting up attacks. I typically try to add rotation at the beginning of an attack and lock when its closer to impact but sometimes other developers tweak attacks and favor this rotation system over speed when deciding difficulty. - Lol as for jump animations, its been discussed amongst the art team a lot and we all want it but it hasn't gotten past just talking about it. I can't spend time making them either since the company decides what they want me working on which is mostly keeping up with new floor deadlines. - Lol and lastly as an animator the player animations aren't actually done by me, they are done by another dev on the team but I'm sure its probably the same reason as for jumping that we don't have a sheath animation or custom idles. Its just not asked of us from the project managers, they typically have a different focus they want the devs to work on.
High hopes tho! Love to hear your thoughts about the game. Wish I could do more to adhere to a better target audience but I'm just the animator . I don't really have the kind of authority it takes to make or incorporate big changes.
Dont give up on the game! it has very great potential even in this state and the pain it is to repeat the same lazy quests to lvl up I love this game. Remind me of old RPG game like Rappelz, a game that could give the devs alot of ideas just saying;)
I disagree with the idea with the crystal upgrading cuz the legendary weapons are already not any better than the floor weapons and especially compared to f3 legendaries(only armors are actually better) so i wouldn't spend more time to get crystals to upgrade weapon thats slightly better.

something i love is that the end of each floor has a song with vocals for the boss fight which is good but the fact its gia every time can get super repetitive
One thing i don't like is when a new floor releases they make the 2nd miniboss's drops 1% when they literally release the floor boss the week after whose drops are also 1% and have better stats.

You just needed to pay the ever increasing vel and crystal cost to upgrade the gear, but otherwise was guaranteed. 4:16 I will say, alleviating the RNG on this would be great on the enchant but I can imagine massive pushback from the trading community who want to keep its rarity (and thus its price).
1:13 Quest System needs only need to do once and needs a unique quest rewards which only available on that specific quest other then vels and exp they should also add a special mob which can be found in a secret area specifically in that floor which gets a unique drops only to that mob whether it's a costumes,materials and exclusive rare weapon drops. As for portals they should make it as a rift type dimension and void type mob in the specific area where it spawned since it has a timer when it reaches 0 indicates you failed to kill all mobs in that rift they should add void themed weapons,Cosmetics and perhaps a skill drop
4:55 As for crafting they should readd burst or Mythical weapons which theme on each floors ,what that means is that you have to get the materials only on that specific floor like Floor 3 which means that weapon has exclusive perks on that weapon it could be a skill like Frostbite, Ice Spike or either a passive skill like your immune to frost damage and immobility

One thing I also don't like about the gameplay is the final boss room on each floor. Not the boss itself, their fine as they are to me. My problem when fighting the boss is the mobs that spawns with the boss. Like, can't you just let us fight the boss alone? The final boss of a floor is meant to be the hardest monster we are fighting so we should only be worrying about the boss.
cant wait to get rained with “i aint readin allat” i spent an hour and half to watch this video because i kept getting distracted (was playing a game) yeah, i agree. the upgrading system currently is really just cold garbage, they could just make the price to upgrade or enchant higher than right now. or when you enchant and you want a certain enchant, they could maybe add a material for said enchant. yes it’s technically still rng since we could get another, say, “burst dmg enchant rune” when we want a stamina rune. but atleast it saves us the pain of having horrid rng when enchanting and spend all our money, we could go around and buy it from someone, maybe the price for the rune would be cheaper than having to buy the legendary with the enchant you want itself. for upgrading, please just make it a 100%, i’ve already had enough with spending over 40 lc to max one legendary in sb2, i dont care if the price increases or anything. cooking, only thing i can say is Yes. it would be so much better having consumables to heal you or maybe boost your stats, just not damage or something (that wouldnt make it any better for the game in my opinion). maybe delights that increases your hp regen (not too much, otherwise it would make you immortal paired on top of the hp regen skill) or movement speed, stamina for a set time. crafting would be great too. it could really make mining more viable, we dont really need a blacksmithing mastery like sbo. just have the needed ores (this way we could probably have more ores added each floor for more unique weapons) and enemy drops (current materials we have) to make weapons WAAAY more usable and better than your average enemy drop, because it takes your time and effort to craft. lazy to cook? maybe make cafe of beginnings actually VIABLE, sell some food there (just not all of them, so people could cook actual food that arent obtained anywhere other than cooking and make it more rewarding). Fishing? No comment. Good feature. Pls add. (makes this comment 30% less as long) void tower could really have alot of improvement, i wont talk about it but i know you guys have more than enough things you can suggest to make it better. as for achievements, instead of making them give so much…blue currency (i forgot the name). i would really like the idea of having to do challenges, maybe you get some challenges daily or weekly to get them, sure this would make it horrid (i really dont like the daily in w//z, if they even exist anymore i havent played wz in a while) BUT having those in the games could really make the achievements reward some much cooler things other than the same currency that WOULD and WILL be useless at endgame right now and in the future. (useless yap but what the hell is the point of making people keep their the hunt event eggs, they do literally nothing) crystal conversion, i very much agree with it. as for the AI on enemies, i agree yeah, you cant dodge them. like, why the hell add a dodging system if the enemy just tracks you frame by frame? maybe make it so that you get something like a 0.2s of s after dodging an attack (ok this is a bad idea but im keeping it here anyway) i love the sand worm boss, most enjoyable fight i’ve seen so far (i dont know if the dungeon boss is better, i’ll check it out soon) keeping your momentum when getting on a mount is great, and please add a animation where you like jump up and summon the mount or something similar, that would add so much quality of life to it and that would make it better than for example, running forward then you start floating and summon your mount then just jump on it. the color scheme and palette of each floor is insanely UNREAL. (unreal in a negative way, my opinion) progression i already talked about it already, way too much times. buff quests and make grinding more enjoyable. like, what the hell? sb2 progression is even less tedious right now (im sorry players who havent unlocked f11 and above) yeah, animations. no comment. deadly, bad, horror. i have more things i wanna say, but this comment is just me talking about the things you explained in the video.

Yeah , I completely agree with you, I'm not a huge fan of the current quests system. It's completely pointless, and that's one of the obvious reasons why I stopped playing sb3 completely

They could use it to crsft items, scrolls for enchantments like poison, food, potions etc. There are a bunch of items and models thst have just one use and its the same for them all. And for achievements they could givd you the recipes you'll need to craft
I hate how the fact that you can’t use the rapier class at level 1 and HAVE to get to floor 4 to use. I was talking about it in the sbo3 discord server and the mods and like level 45 were calling me CRAZY saying ohh it’s a harder weapon to use so it’s for higher levels.. like bruh u dumb??? Plus why do they have level 5 15 40 skills when u can even use the class?? In Sbo 1 and Sbo 2 u could use whatever u want when u wanted. I don’t care if it takes months for a new floor and new weapons. I want the mystery of using a weapon and getting a drop for that weapon from a mob I am fighting.. just.. this game is so horrible and compared to me beta testing Sbo 2 I have no hope for this game. Also sorry but I hated floor 4.. I literally did imps till I could enter the dungeon and did scarebes and skipped everything because it wasn’t worth exploring the world when there’s NOTHING to find or do. Anyway game sucks I wish they spent the year making new skills for sbo2 and made attack patters for sbo2 instead of this. Also love your videos

I think you should’ve talked about the enemy models themselves a lot more. I am going to leave a lengthy text wall about what about them is wrong, because it’s just what I do ig. :P For those who don’t wanna read, you’re obligated to receive one cookie. So here. (v’.’)>🍪 I’ll start off by saying something positive; Bombai makes some pretty solid models. They’re smooth, there’s often times not a lot or barely any errors in them, they look better than a majority of models in Roblox, they fit the style of the game, etc. And while not all boss designs are liked, there is a certain level of quality there that can be recognized. With that being said, there’s also two things I find wrong with the enemies; Variety and Remodels (ohno I’m bringing up remodels aaaa.) The variety is pretty good… in terms of animal species. On earlier floors such as F1, I can understand that new players will be met with simple enemies or animals to start off, and then work their way up to stronger enemies and monsters. But a majority of the enemies, while not only sharing a majority of the attacks, are very similar in terms of the type of enemies as well as how they’re designed. If you notice on floors 2-4, a lot of the enemies there are animals, with floor 4 likely being one of the mid-floors in progression as time goes on. Yet it seems a majority of these enemies are simply animals that are either recolored or modeled to simply fit the theme of the floor. And they aren’t even upright or special in any way if they aren’t a boss or something. And not to mention that even on these floors, some of the enemies are still straight up not even fantasy animals, but animals based directly off the real world. Like the snow-white hares in F3, the scorpions of F3/4 (just one made blue and icy to fit the theme,) or the painfully obvious camels that are meant to serve as the challenge to get into the F4 dungeon (or so the devs intend with the quest locking.) These enemies designs aren’t special, they don’t have any flare or intimidating features, there’s no enemies like Orcs or Goblins, not even a slime on the floor. You can say there’s no use making every enemy unique, but why do a majority of them have to be so bland? Is it that hard to have given the Scarabs in the boss room a more upright position and have them wear helmets with swords? (Beetles can look good with swords. Just look at Hollow Knight.) The designs of the animals are simplistic, very few of the animals are based off of fantasy creatures (like the Phoenixes or Kitsunes,) and we lack a variety in enemy designs that aren’t animals. You could have elementals that aren’t straight up golems, Centaurs that are still animals, but more cleverly designed being a combo of 2 enemies, possessed relics of pottery or masks (kind of like Desert Spirit), and other various designs. And yet, for F5 I bet we’ll simply continue to murder local wildlife. Another thing I think is flawed about the enemies is the amount of remodels, and I don’t think Bombai either realizes this, or cares despite how many people have tried to tell or explain this to him. It’s understandable that at some point, even if it were 3-4 floors in, there’s gonna be recycled enemies and such. In some areas on the same floor even, there’s also gonna be remodeled. But in some cases, it makes sense. Gemstone woodlands? Enemies having crystals growing out of their backs? Same floor, same theme, makes sense. ALPHA Icewhal? The name implies it’s the leader of smaller Icewhals and also makes sense. That’s not the problem. Just to resummarize; Remodels/reskins are okay if they make sense to have or if it’s far along in the game so you don’t see the same enemy type over and over. In F2 however, you’re already seeing 5 recycled models; The basilisk, bear, moose, golem, and wolf (the Hell Hound counts people,) which is insane for only being on the second floor of the game. Note that I did not include the Skeleton version of the imps because it makes sense and fits the demonic theme of the dungeon and boss, being the Imp fire lord named Pathos. F3 also includes the Kitsunes being sly wolf remodels, as well as the Polar Bears. Again, I did not include the smaller Icewhals because of the Alpha Icewhal’s name implying it’s the head of the species. F4 goes even further, including remodeled phoenixes, jaguars (the spirit lions are a sly attempt,) and the scorpions. You may have noticed I did not list the other Turtle there, because I will not avoid calling the Turtle a “remodel” and not a “reskin,” because all it is is slightly spikier on the back and a different color. All in all, that’s 10+ reskins and we’re only on F4. If you did include Galiard, Alpha Mount, Void Galiard, Skeleton Imps, Icewhals, the Crystal Boars, and Void Erebus as remodels too, that’d bump up the total to 15+. Again, while Bombai does make quality models; When you use an already existing model as a baseplate, it’s expected that you can make that mob even better than it’s original cause you already have something to start off with, which should’ve been the same case with the Alpha Mount. But when you abuse this so frequently and early, it hinders the overall quality of the enemy designs and variety as a whole. To recap, the enemy designs are not unique, the types of enemies are mostly animals even this late in the game, the amount of remodels is so abundant even by the second floor where you’re ready to see a ton of new stuff, not old, and it can hinder the quality overall of mobs if they do not improve, but stay relatively the same. I understand not every mob can be unique, but a majority of the mobs feel bland and uninspired past F1. Thanks for making it to the end of the text wall. Don’t tell anyone… but you can have two more cookies for that.🍪🍪
YES I AGREE I HATE HAVING TO MURDER AN ENTIRE ECOSYSTEM IN REDMANTAS GAMES, WORLD ZERO NOW THIS REEEE! seriously tho im tired of the animal type enemines, goblins, orcs, golems etc would be a breath of fresh air. And yes i do think remodels of mobs is fine as long as its done right. Lets hope that trend doesnt continue for floor 5 whenver that comes tho ;c and ty for the cookie :D

truth is, this game is all about RNG. mount crafting, drops after defeating bosses, upgrading and enchanting stuff, and even hitting crits
The Void Tower could be infinitely better if they switched it from 100 Floors to 100 Rooms, Just the amount of running is mind numbing.

@@ToxicLowFive they literally make an exclusive Drop for every mob and its JUST for mounts. They could use it to crsft items, scrolls for enchantments like poison, food, potions etc. There are a bunch of items and models thst have just one use and its the same for them all.
And for achievements they could givd you the recipes you'll need to craft
I hate how the fact that you can’t use the rapier class at level 1 and HAVE to get to floor 4 to use. I was talking about it in the sbo3 discord server and the mods and like level 45 were calling me CRAZY saying ohh it’s a harder weapon to use so it’s for higher levels.. like bruh u dumb??? Plus why do they have level 5 15 40 skills when u can even use the class?? In Sbo 1 and Sbo 2 u could use whatever u want when u wanted. I don’t care if it takes months for a new floor and new weapons. I want the mystery of using a weapon and getting a drop for that weapon from a mob I am fighting.. just.. this game is so horrible and compared to me beta testing Sbo 2 I have no hope for this game. Also sorry but I hated floor 4.. I literally did imps till I could enter the dungeon and did scarebes and skipped everything because it wasn’t worth exploring the world when there’s NOTHING to find or do. Anyway game sucks I wish they spent the year making new skills for sbo2 and made attack patters for sbo2 instead of this. Also love your videos
yep! i agree i HATE that we have to go to certain floors to get the weapon type we want to use, and yep i undertand why you would skip past everything in floor 4 its practically teh same as all of the other floors ;c and ty!

I think you should’ve talked about the enemy models themselves a lot more. I am going to leave a lengthy text wall about what about them is wrong, because it’s just what I do ig. :P

I’ll start off by saying something positive; Bombai makes some pretty solid models. They’re smooth, there’s often times not a lot or barely any errors in them, they look better than a majority of models in Roblox, they fit the style of the game, etc. And while not all boss designs are liked, there is a certain level of quality there that can be recognized.
With that being said, there’s also two things I find wrong with the enemies; Variety and Remodels (ohno I’m bringing up remodels aaaa.)
The variety is pretty good… in terms of animal species. On earlier floors such as F1, I can understand that new players will be met with simple enemies or animals to start off, and then work their way up to stronger enemies and monsters. But a majority of the enemies, while not only sharing a majority of the attacks, are very similar in terms of the type of enemies as well as how they’re designed.
If you notice on floors 2-4, a lot of the enemies there are animals, with floor 4 likely being one of the mid-floors in progression as time goes on. Yet it seems a majority of these enemies are simply animals that are either recolored or modeled to simply fit the theme of the floor. And they aren’t even upright or special in any way if they aren’t a boss or something.
And not to mention that even on these floors, some of the enemies are still straight up not even fantasy animals, but animals based directly off the real world. Like the snow-white hares in F3, the scorpions of F3/4 (just one made blue and icy to fit the theme,) or the painfully obvious camels that are meant to serve as the challenge to get into the F4 dungeon (or so the devs intend with the quest locking.) These enemies designs aren’t special, they don’t have any flare or intimidating features, there’s no enemies like Orcs or Goblins, not even a slime on the floor. You can say there’s no use making every enemy unique, but why do a majority of them have to be so bland? Is it that hard to have given the Scarabs in the boss room a more upright position and have them wear helmets with swords? (Beetles can look good with swords. Just look at Hollow Knight.) The designs of the animals are simplistic, very few of the animals are based off of fantasy creatures (like the Phoenixes or Kitsunes,) and we lack a variety in enemy designs that aren’t animals. You could have elementals that aren’t straight up golems, Centaurs that are still animals, but more cleverly designed being a combo of 2 enemies, possessed relics of pottery or masks (kind of like Desert Spirit), and other various designs. And yet, for F5 I bet we’ll simply continue to murder local wildlife.
Another thing I think is flawed about the enemies is the amount of remodels, and I don’t think Bombai either realizes this, or cares despite how many people have tried to tell or explain this to him.
It’s understandable that at some point, even if it were 3-4 floors in, there’s gonna be recycled enemies and such. In some areas on the same floor even, there’s also gonna be remodeled. But in some cases, it makes sense. Gemstone woodlands? Enemies having crystals growing out of their backs? Same floor, same theme, makes sense. ALPHA Icewhal? The name implies it’s the leader of smaller Icewhals and also makes sense. That’s not the problem. Just to resummarize; Remodels/reskins are okay if they make sense to have or if it’s far along in the game so you don’t see the same enemy type over and over.
In F2 however, you’re already seeing 5 recycled models; The basilisk, bear, moose, golem, and wolf (the Hell Hound counts people,) which is insane for only being on the second floor of the game. Note that I did not include the Skeleton version of the imps because it makes sense and fits the demonic theme of the dungeon and boss, being the Imp fire lord named Pathos. F3 also includes the Kitsunes being sly wolf remodels, as well as the Polar Bears. Again, I did not include the smaller Icewhals because of the Alpha Icewhal’s name implying it’s the head of the species. F4 goes even further, including remodeled phoenixes, jaguars (the spirit lions are a sly attempt,) and the scorpions. You may have noticed I did not list the other Turtle there, because I will not avoid calling the Turtle a “remodel” and not a “reskin,” because all it is is slightly spikier on the back and a different color. All in all, that’s 10+ reskins and we’re only on F4. If you did include Galiard, Alpha Mount, Void Galiard, Skeleton Imps, Icewhals, the Crystal Boars, and Void Erebus as remodels too, that’d bump up the total to 15+.
Again, while Bombai does make quality models; When you use an already existing model as a baseplate, it’s expected that you can make that mob even better than it’s original cause you already have something to start off with, which should’ve been the same case with the Alpha Mount. But when you abuse this so frequently and early, it hinders the overall quality of the enemy designs and variety as a whole.
To recap, the enemy designs are not unique, the types of enemies are mostly animals even this late in the game, the amount of remodels is so abundant even by the second floor where you’re ready to see a ton of new stuff, not old, and it can hinder the quality overall of mobs if they do not improve, but stay relatively the same. I understand not every mob can be unique, but a majority of the mobs feel bland and uninspired past F1.

YES I AGREE I HATE HAVING TO MURDER AN ENTIRE ECOSYSTEM IN REDMANTAS GAMES, WORLD ZERO NOW THIS REEEE! seriously tho im tired of the animal type enemines, goblins, orcs, golems etc would be a breath of fresh air. And yes i do think remodels of mobs is fine as long as its done right. Lets hope that trend doesnt continue for floor 5 whenver that comes tho ;c and ty for the cookie :D

I hate to say it though, but given how fast F4 came out with a majority of the animal designs, I'm not too hopeful sadly for F5.
