The White Walkers are the leaders, they can be killed with Dragon Glass or Valeryian Steel. The whights including the skeletons can be killed with the same and also fire. A person cannot turn into a whights by a bite. They have to die first and be "reanimated " by the walkers . Cheers
I always thought they had put something in it... if you were to pour some milk of the poppy in the wine he would drink the same amount but get absolutely trashed and off balance... but maybe I'm wrong and Robert just wasn't one to turn it down when Lancel kept offering it
LONG CLAW BAYBEE!! VALYRIAN STEEL FOR THE FOCKING WIN!!!! Dragon Glass/Obsidian and Valyrian Steel are THE ONLY TWO types of blades/materials/weapons that can withstand the White Walkers ice weapons AND actually kill White Walkers and Wights (along with Berics flaming sword, because its soOper special Lord of Light fire)!!!! theres only a SMALL handful of Valyrian Steel blades left in the entire kingdom!!! i believe its Long Claw (Jons), Ice (Neds giant one that was split into two new ones), then Tywin melted Ice down into Oathkeeper (Briennes sword gifted from Jaime) and Widows Wail (Joffreys new one he used to destroy that book on the table), Heartsbane (Sams family sword) and Blackfyre (the smaller, handheld dagger used in the attempt to kill Bran after he fell and survived)!!! now i MIGHT have missed like, ONE other blade, but i truly think thats about it in all of the 7 kingdoms!!!! yesss on to the next one, my guy!!! ⚔❤🔥💙❤❤🔥⚔
Cersei killed Robert. She planned for him to get drunk, his squire was Cersei's cousin (who she was also fucking) and he kept giving King Robert glass after glass filled with wine just before the hunt. She fully admits to this in later seasons
what's so interesting about Dany's "break the wheel speech" is that the spinning had only been happening for less than 20 yrs. Her family had been in power for the 200 yrs before that. There wasn't a wheel until her dad was killed.
I’ve rewatched this about 778 times and EVERY time I hear you say,… “😮 them the leaders.. sitting on they fckn zombie horses” “Bitch!” “and his sword flew out the fckn way in no man’s land 🙄“ “I know you fckn lying! “GET UP!! got damn it… 😒 I hate when y’all fckn fall,it takes 2 seconds for y’all to get up” I LAUGH so hard my insides be hurting 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂lol 😂I love it!
The reason Jon’s sword didn’t break was it was made of Valyrian steel, also known as “dragon steel”. Also cersei didn’t directly kill Robert, she did encourage one of the Lannister kids whichever one was Roberts squire to get him drunk as possible before trying to kill the boar with a spear so that he might get killed “by accident”.
The Lannister kid that was squire for Robert was cousin Lancel! The one who Cersei had been sleeping with. He looks so different now with the Faith Militant than he did then.
King Robert died because Lancel Lanister kept pouring wine into his cup and Cersei was sleeping with Lancel Lannister was doing what ever she told him. And Jon Sword is made from Valirian Steel very few few are still around Westeros.
That last shot with the whole walker army...you can just feel the feeling of defeat and imminent doom. Really incredible shots! I think it just took Jon a long time to get up because he got the wind knocked out of him when he hit the ground. I can vouch for that...shit sucks!
My first thought upon him landing flat on his back from upstairs was "Oh...broken Ribs for sure." At the end, I think the choice to go totally silent except for the water was BRILLIANT. Its terrifying.
Don’t forget, the Wall was built to protect the realm from all the baddies north of it. It was imbued with charms and protection spells that are supposed to ward off uhm, ‘evil’
Lancel kept Robert drinking 'fortified' wine, that is, wine with a high alcohol content. Robert kept drinking it when he was exerting himself and he should have been drinking water while walking all day in the woods; hence, Robert was both tipsy and dehydrated. Varys was aware of this and commented on it, saying, "I hope that the poor boy doesn't blame himself," or words to that effect. This IS one of the reasons why Lancel felt so guilty aside from the incest with Cersei, and why he became a sparrow in turning to religion. To be honest, even in the context of the books where things usually make more sense, Robert dying did seem contrived to me. But, wild boars can be very dangerous, and drunk, aging fat men looking for a fight aren't as capable as they used to be. It WAS a dumb accident as you thought, but it's akin to Cersei telling Lancel to put soap or oil or something slick on the steps of a ladder hoping that Robert falls off. While not very certain, that still counts as murder if it works. Every time Lancel gave Robert a drink, he was putting a little more oil on that ladder. Jon's sword is made of Valyrian steel and is 'magic' and is therefore effective against the White Walkers.
I LOVE Tormund! And Won-Won the giant. The Thins are cannibal assholes!! Fire, dragon glass, and Valarian steel kill Wights and Wight Walkers. Their bite is not a problem as it is in Walking Dead.
"I did not expect all of this!" No one did. They surprised everyone by having the big action episode in 8 instead of 9 when everyone expected it. Also, in the book, we only hear something happened. So, no one really knew what to expect.
Remember when Varys told ned that his mercy killed the king? Because he told Cersei that he knew the truth and that she should leave, she had lancel get Robert in the hope of the boar killing him
I was waiting on your reaction to this episode. One of the best fight scenes in the whole show. I promise you the next couple of episodes are epic! Great reaction and commentary as always.
By this episode we learn there are 4 things that can kill wights... Fire, Dragonglass, Valerian Steel and Magic. Though it does appear that fire can't touch the 4 horsemen.
@Something Creative lol, unfortunately stomped on wights can simply be raised again by the night King. Only the above 4 methods can stop them. permanently.
You make me laugh sooooooo much. I truly enjoy watching you enjoy (with much anxiety, bated breathe, and hilarious commentation) The Greatest Show Ever!!!
… if you thought the show was good so far… get ready for epic! 😊 keep up the great work! Lancel did push a lot of wine on Robert on that hunt that killed him.. I’m not sure we know if there was anything or not in that wine
BTW the Then leader is a Bulgarian actor and its always hype considering we ain't a particularly big country or anything (neither in size nor in influence... I mean the two are kinda linked), so seeing a Bulgarian actor in such a big internationally famous show is always hype. And while the character was a dick at the start, at the end he did help Jon.
😂😂 I remember this episode. Only a select few episodes of Game of Thrones stick out to me but for the most part I kind of forgot about the whole show and I will tell you why once you finish the whole show.
Bro, think of it this way. Cerci is probably the most ruthless dangerous people in GoT. She won't die. She'll do anything to get out. When she does, what do you think she will do? I'd be terrified if I was the shame lady.
Lance Kerr giving Robert more wine on Cersei's orders. She was sleeping with him to control him. Littlefinger's gift to Lady Olenna was a "young man ", remember? Lancel. Who knew it all. And is now a religious fanatic.
cercei murdered king robert, she told her cousin lansel to make robert drink alot of wine during the hunt which made him slow and that is why the pig got him. cercei killed king robert
I record once or twice a week depending on how busy I am. I’m on season 7 on Patreon. I record faster than I can edit. I am attempting to post twice a week on TH-cam to try and get yall somewhat caught up but I’m watching alot of things at the moment. I’m halfway done editing 5x09
How do all these wildlings have no problem wading hip deep in ICE WATER to the boats? Those skins arent waterproof so they are filling their boots with water......in freezing temperatures. I would rather get bodied by a white walker than wade to those boats.
Entering Hardhome: "Man I'd be so pissed if I had to row that s#&t"
Leaving Hardhome: "That motherf$@^&r better get to rowing!!!"
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"you look good Cersei" I'm dying 😆
The White Walkers are the leaders, they can be killed with Dragon Glass or Valeryian Steel. The whights including the skeletons can be killed with the same and also fire. A person cannot turn into a whights by a bite. They have to die first and be "reanimated " by the walkers . Cheers
Cersei had Lancel keep Robert drunk. Not a direct murder, just made it more likely his own recklessness does him in.
I always thought they had put something in it... if you were to pour some milk of the poppy in the wine he would drink the same amount but get absolutely trashed and off balance... but maybe I'm wrong and Robert just wasn't one to turn it down when Lancel kept offering it
They poisoned his wine as well
@@silversailer I thought the same thing. He seemed more than just drunk.
Lancel admitted to poisoning the wine.
He would also give him stronger wine, per Cersei.
LONG CLAW BAYBEE!! VALYRIAN STEEL FOR THE FOCKING WIN!!!! John’s sword is made of Valerian steel. It’s very rare now but yes, it does kill ANY of the white walkers. 😊
Valyrian* and yeah it kills wights and white walkers in the show, but in the books wights can only be stopped with fire.
Cersei killed Robert. She planned for him to get drunk, his squire was Cersei's cousin (who she was also fucking) and he kept giving King Robert glass after glass filled with wine just before the hunt. She fully admits to this in later seasons
GO! THE FUCK WE LOOKIN AT THEM FOR?!?!?!? -- 💯%
😂😂😂😂
I know I'm late to the party, but Sansa's strength is her "inner strength"; she holds it together very well.
what's so interesting about Dany's "break the wheel speech" is that the spinning had only been happening for less than 20 yrs. Her family had been in power for the 200 yrs before that. There wasn't a wheel until her dad was killed.
Now that’s a villains entrance! Easily in my top 5 of all time villain entrances lol…. Now stop gawking and row dammit! 😂

HardHome changed John and everyone that was with him I feel
it changed me when I saw it for the first time lol. I don't do well with zombies. O.o
I was like ROW the damn boat man!
King Robert died because Lancel Lanister kept pouring wine into his cup and Cersei was sleeping with Lancel Lannister was doing what ever she told him. And Jon Sword is made from Valirian Steel very few few are still around Westeros.
Tyrion & Daenerys meeting & Hardhome makes this one of best episodes in the whole series! Can’t wait for the next one!
One of the best episodes in the entire series, no doubt. When you get a chance, look at how they filmed this. Very impressive.
I always watch the behind the scenes when I’m finished with an ep. Truly amazing how they create these big episodes
It’s my one of my top 3!!
The dialogue between Dany and Tyrion must be one of my favorite on the entire series, it's just so good from start to finish.
One of the best episodes of the whole series! Jon is always down to battle!!
Jon back got to hurt from carrying these people
@@BigBroLilSis he is a fighter and soft at same time 🤣

I'm only 23 mins into this video and I'm like ooooooh i can't wait to see your reaction at the end of this episode this episode was epic af
Oh and Cercei having to drink the water from the floor #pricelesss
Don’t forget, the Wall was built to protect the realm from all the baddies north of it. It was imbued with charms and protection spells that are supposed to ward off uhm, ‘evil’
Also ‘Tyrions not out here committing bloody murder’

Love your enthusiasm in seeing Cersei suffer😆
😆😆 it’s what I deserve

I think the dragon glass (and Valerian steel) can kill everyone, but the white walkers don't care for fire, it just kills the whites.
Cersei had lancel feed Robert lots of slightly poisoned wine in order to make it more likely that he would die on the hunt.
It wasn't poisoned at all. In the show it's just wine. The books specify that it was especially strong, but that's it.
"I did not expect all of this!" No one did. They surprised everyone by having the big action episode in 8 instead of 9 when everyone expected it. Also, in the book, we only hear something happened. So, no one really knew what to expect.

Another great episode! #8 in my GOT top 10. Great end sequence in Hardhome.
Remember when Varys told ned that his mercy killed the king? Because he told Cersei that he knew the truth and that she should leave, she had lancel get Robert in the hope of the boar killing him
😭😭😭 that bitch
Cersei slept with her cousin and promised him promotion to squire to force more wine on Robert while he was hunting.

LOL!!! @ the boat rowing! I was saying the same thing when I watched this episode.
”You’ll catch an icicle!” LOL 😂🌺
Oh, damn! I forgot Hardhome was next. Let's go!!
So happy you uploaded GOT to start off a good weekend! --❤ from 🇵🇭

This is my FAVORITE battle episode!
This is my favorite episode. You watching the way you watch made it even better. You remind me of me, lol!
I feel like they spiked the wine even harder. Lancel was his cup barrier
Ok not gonna lie, that "eye-cycle" punchline hit me like valyrian truck 🤣

I thought Cersei had Lancel poisoning Robert’s wine, and Joffrey being poisoned was part of her karma lol.
It takes Jon 20 years to make a soldier. it takes the Night King 20 seconds. How do you win that war?
48 episodes down, 25 to come. SO MUCH to come. Episode 9 is nigh...

I’m so used to it from season 1 welhen it would cut to Peter’s brothel during my conversations 😭
This is one of my faves for sure, maybe a top 3 tbh 👀

Robert was killed by the boar because Cersei had Lancel keep him topped up on wine. Alcohol whilst hunting isn't a good mix.
Lance Kerr giving Robert more wine on Cersei's orders. She was sleeping with him to control him. Littlefinger's gift to Lady Olenna was a "young man ", remember? Lancel. Who knew it all. And is now a religious fanatic.
