I love how similar this process is to building a FSAE chassis! I'm a welder and senior in mech engineering at ASU and it is so cool to see how the professionals do it! Hopefully will be involved with awesome projects like this once I'm out of school! Always an inspiration kibbe!
Have you guys ever heard of or seen a square shaped/boxed rollcage? I'm going to be doing the stereo system in a guys truck that will compete in sq competitions, but he is also an offroad guy and plans to have the truck caged with suspension work. The a-pillar mid and tweeter locations would be nearly impossible with a rollcage tube, so the idea of a boxed section of the rollcage was being tossed around, to try and give us some much needed clearance. In a big fullsize truck, that a pillar spot is really the only possible location for the mid and tweet to get the right stage height.

I'm in the process of getting a 00 Tundra cab and frame from a guy but I really want a Tacoma , and the one I want is in a junkyard but say they can't sell it without cutting it up. Help me out brotha!
