Just wanted to say but I would recommend putting vending machines in as many of the stone triangles on the second floor, this acts as honey comb and makes the raid cost much more expensive and is a great way to store loot
I built this and added high walls around the outside. This prompted raids from the air, which the base is rather vulnerable from, in all seriousness. Once the neck is opened, the base defense is very very difficult. I suggest adding more security in the center chute. I also added another ladder hatch before the bunker wall. The upper ladder hatch cannot be replaced if it has been broken. Overall, nice concept, a few tweaks make it great. The upper loot room is well far enough from the nominal raid path that valuables might be safe there.. I also put my T3 bench along side it and in the triangle instead of a locker or vending machine. A fridge goes really nicely where the chippy machine was shown. You definitely need ATLEAST salvaged shelves in the TC area, if you’re not a fan of the BBQ method.. I know I’m not. But I have so much stuff squirreled away down there. Great build. I need to expand it a bit for electricity and turrets.. it’s lacking that to mitigate the top down raid. Lastly, TC build priv stacking and flank bases would make this base into a nightmare compound. Food for thought.

I just have a Tip for you, When you build bases I've noticed that sometimes your placments for items don't allow access at all which is something you should keep in mind of such as your most recent build the furnace leading to the airlock it blocks the way to tc area/ bunker.
I built this base for me and my friends just to find out there switching servers it was really fun though and I really like the design I’m definitely using this again
Been using this on a high pop server i've been on, survived 5 onlines and 11 offlines, only 2 got through the roof and 1 got to TC. Will just say the shotgun trap by the roof is a life send, as we mostly forget to remove the twig, and most of the times we'd log on to see it gone. Also friendly hint, opening the bunker from the outside has been near damn impossible for me, so I'd take out the T2 and replace it with a locker, on the top row put a building plan and a stack of wood, just incase you get locked in/out.
@@MyGamingExperience Afraid to say some korean guy raided me the early ours of the morning, went in from the roof and just blew through all the doors till he got to bunker, then brute forced it. Gonna try and rebuild it but otherwise is an awesome base! Maybe try and make the entrance from the roof more spiral so they need to waste more if they blow in from the top.

If you raise the triangle in front of the roof bunker you can still do this design. You can do a roof bunker but leave the square foundation with the roof on it twig. Just destroy the twig in the morning
you can actually fit more than a locker in a triangle 1x1, Davdav has some videos on this but you can fit a locker up against a wall, a furnace beside it, and a wall drop box above the furnace if you want
@@MyGamingExperience I agree, it’s important to set up priorities when setting up and planning your base, for example when I make the thrifty Scott I always struggle with placing and securing tc because a window with take up more space than a wall and eliminates my favorite loot room, and often I don’t use the drop box above the furnace because on more than one occasion it was broken and looted from the outside
@@connorcarlson6809 it’s patched, that type of bunker doesn’t work anymore, in order to open it you have to upgrade the roof to the same material as the other piece

Every time I try to seal the bunker with the normal roof (upgraded to stone) it won’t go back down with the thatch triangle roof. The bunker just stays sealed
ive been messing around with it and the only possible way to close it would be to have the foundation twig. but once u close it u can never open it again so im kinda lost
you can also bunker the gum up by adding a "shelf" into one of the square honey combs surrounding the jump up. then putting a twig triangle frame but im not a big fan of that method myself but i will continue to mess around with this and find a valid answer

Watching in 2022, the bunker has been patched no longer allowing for this bunker type, but you should be able to change it to a different one quite easily. Other than that great build!

A cheap workaround for the first jump up is to use a furnace and not a half wall triangle piece. If you place the furnace all the way in the back you can go through sheet metal double doors and jump on the furnace to get out. Fairly easy and cheap fix. This will let you have a extra door that needs blown through before you get garage doors. Sucks we have to do this since the bunker does not work anymore so there is no way onto a triangle halfwall piece unless you have a garage door :(

So just opened it went outside came back and it was just glitched through the roof instead of angling it down and now I lost everything to a glitch! :) be careful
lol i raided this base design like a week ago. 6 satchels and 30 explo because the people i raided didn't use windows, and left 2 doors open. Advice for this is upgrade to armored doors ASAP, because the raid cost is 4 double doors/garage doors and one window even when fully built.

It is better for offline protection thats why i didn't go to ham on the defenses
I removed the triangle roof and when the regular roof sealed the entrance I can't reopen it again I'm sealed in my own base xD help pls

Use one of the triangles at 12:00 for a large battery. This will help with turrets later in the wipe :)

yeah, with a base this big, fitting everything as tightly as possible can become too cluttered, although it is cool to maximize space as well

I love the helipad on the back because I suck at flying. The other thing I like is how spacious it is. Tight base designs are not my preference.
I like to have room in the base to move around as well, making the smallest most space efficient design isn't always the best

I build on a DS, i do sometimes remove walls, its worst when you accidentally remove the foundation that has a bunch of stuff on it haha

when i place the roof and upgrade it it no longer opens when i place the triangle roof, it only opens when the normal roof is twig
you have to upgrade the triangle roof to the same material, i made a fix video for this base

lol i raided this base design like a week ago. 6 satchels and 30 explo because the people i raided didn't use windows, and left 2 doors open. Advice for this is upgrade to armored doors ASAP, because the raid cost is 4 double doors/garage doors and one window even when fully built.

It was patched the twig roof has to be upgraded to the same level as the other roof before the bunker opens.

when i place down my triangle roof my bunker doesnt open. unlesss i upgrade it to sheet metal
There was a nerf to the roof bunker, i post a video on how to temporarily fix it but this roof bunker is not ideal anymore
@@MyGamingExperience why make base designs with bunkers if they are gonna get patched, i mean dont get me wrong i almost only use your base designs, but i always leave out or dont inculde bunkers in my base

Well I just made this base and did not realise bunker was nerfed. You should consider pinning your comment with a link to the video with fix, would save me and probably some people some headache.

@@MyGamingExperience No need to apologise. Pop up is easy to miss. Also personally I find it way easier to follow a build when I see final material tier straight away, instead of showing what and when to upgrade. Thought about doing it this way instead?

Great vid, however I am new and didn’t know the bunker was patched. I am now stuck and blocked with a metal bunker. Is there a way I can work around it?

I know the base is outdated but great editting and video man. I adapted it a lit(given the nerf) and is using it this wipe.
