I fondly remember Sunset Boulevard in London in 1993. Hotly debated.
I went to see this show last Thursday night. It was brilliant and I'm going to see it again this Wednesday. Ashleigh Rubenach and Joe Gillis are both brilliant in their roles. Sarah Brighton was really good also in her role. Being an opera lover, I've have seen much better Sopranos than Sarah. If you haven't seen the show go and see it, it is a great production and well worth it. The whole cast did an amazing job.

Looking back, Sarah is the greatest singer for two centuries.
Totally disagree. Cecilia Bartoli, Joan, Sutherland, Maria Callas, Angela Gheorghiu, Renee Fleming, Kiri Te Kanawa all run rings around her. In the opera world no one really talks about her. Go and listen to some Coloratura Sopranos, now that is real singing.

Patti Lupone was the original Norma in the musical. Gloria Swanson is thee original ND.

I want to see Sarah but Tim Draxl is so bland.
Just from this clip, she is the wrong person for the role, looks like Christine as Norma with all the same Christine face and body gestures. She is no Patti L. Also, Tim is Waaaaaaay to old and poor American accent to play the YOUNG, hot guy role, YUK!
