Without your upgraded versions, I will not know what have made the original ones look unnatural. You have given life to the figures, especially in your photo shooting. Amazing!
Love what you have done to Tony and the mini 3D posters. I have been meaning to find a new display series to decorate my shelf. This is perfect! Definitely joining the patreon!
A figure has facial expressions. How come? But, you have proved it! Tony shows different facial expressions and emotions in your photos. You are a fantastic photographer!👍👍
Again, you have done an amazing job to make the figure look more metallic and natural. I love the colour you repainted to the hair and face. Fantastic upgrade!
i was considering buying this pack and you just sold me on it! great job! i can't seem to get enough of how the snapping hand looks after adding details, props to you
Well done Ken! You really got the colors and details right! Love seeing the final results. The extra detailing you did for the heads are awesome! Major kudos once again!
Another great video! I am really impressed by how the paint in the hair and the improved skin tone really helps to give the figure a more realistic looking portrait. I may have to give this a try on mine. Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see all the cool things coming on Patreon.
@@KenIMakeIt I have been working at it but can't seem to match the red you made in the video, so I tried to use a darker red without mixing and it still did not look as good as yours. I also need to learn how to use that varnish, I bought the same one but when I've applied it to a figure it usually dried slightly sticky, do you have any tips on that? Thank you for replying by the way! It made my day, I love your work! 😀
The red is quite tricky to mix. The holiday red I'm using looks different on the bottle vs on the figure. I find that adding the purple as shading helps. As for the varnish, I wonder if applying multiple thin coats (after each layer has fully dried) would help. Or maybe add a very very thin layer of watered down paint on top so the stickiness stick to the paint instead?
It'd be cool to see an upgraded Eternals Ikaris figure. I feel like the face likeness for Ikaris could be better and the blue could be a bit less glossy.
I sometimes wet my brush with water if I want to apply thin layers, or when I am trying to blend colours. I also listed the varnish I use in the description box too if you are interested.
This re-release might use a cheaper-looking red plastic and dull-looking paints... but at least the arc reactor is the proper shape this time, so that's something.
Without any comparison, the original figure was alright. With the comparison, they look artificial. And hey, the posters look interesting , take my money 💸
Just realized that you never prime or sand your figures. Although it looks good from the get go, It'll chip away as soon as you move the joints or even in displays with moisture and heat.
I know sanding / priming will make the paint stick better, but sanding scares me😨. It feels like I'm permanently damaging my figures hahaha. At the moment, l have minimal chipping issues as I figured out how to pose my figures without chipping the paint in most cases. But I may start doing that once it becomes a problem. Most of the time I just want to start painting and skip the prep work 😅
@@KenIMakeIt Sanding and priming also got a very good advantage more than just sticking the paint. It makes the color consistent, for example; a hot rod red will look like hit rod red with a white primed figure
They shat the bed trying to do the accurate paint. With Captain America even, IW and Endgame! And guess what? *THEY DIDN'T EVEN FIX IT IN THE 2 PACK HE WAS IN WITH FALCON!* . Now. With the Iron - Man, it is literally worse. Now, I like some decent paint in little spaces, shows the work that they have done. But does that happen? *NEVER!* First, it was Infinity War, and now this? Its like they are ripping your money off into trying to buy action figures that don't even look accurate, fans will eventually hate it and recommend them to redo it, which they do, and then they mess it up! Making the fans regret on buying the figure, or maybe for collection. But what about smart little kids that notice the little dog wank detail? *THEY'LL REGRET IT EVEN MORE!!!* But again, that's the problem with the IW and Endgame wave. They make shitty figures so you can collect the body parts of the BAF. It's dogshit! The Thanos BAF was built TWICE! So what was the point of making two??!! *AND!* I soon to also noticed that the retarded staff doing the figures are literally choosing the characters that are barely in Endgame! For example, Spiderman, Rescue! Forgive me, but don't we already have a Black Panther from the Black Panther wave? And Spiderman from the IW wave? Cut me some slack. Please. *BUT NOTHING EVEN CHANGED WITH THE SPIDERMAN FIGURE!!* Not even the web shooters! And where is an extra Peter Parker Tom Holland headsculpt? Oh, that's right. Its just that the company don't give a damn about their buyers or the figure. They only care about the money!
This is just my opinion. I am just commenting on my thoughts about the Thanos & Iron Man 2 Pack, Captain America Infinity Saga, and the whole Endgame and IW wave. If you want to take decent shots at me, go ahead. But in reality, I DO NOT hate the company. I just don't respect them about their ops.

You have nailed the upgrading of heads again. You have made the heads look real and expressive. The whole figure becomes lively. Great job!
To improve the 'Halloween make-up' is not that easy. You are bold and skillful. Congratulations! You have made it.

I had doubts too! (Also why it took me this long to finally do this) The figure does have some flaws.. but it's wonderful otherwise!

Hey I actually have this figure! I'm definitely repainting this! Thanks for the inspiration Ken!

Thanks!! The changes were so gradual that I didn't really notice anything drastic until I was editing the video haha.
thats SO dope and amazing, definitely much better, i love the mini 3D poster, greate idea
very good figure
I'm so excited, please do the integrated suit lol, keep it up!
Damn man! That’s so impressive!
Amazing work! It looks way better! It would be cool if you did the Marvel Legends Peter B Parker
Didn't even watch the video yet, but I know it's gonna be awesome
Ken you keep killing it with every video, man. Love these repainted legends. What acrylic brands do you recommend most?
I use dollar store acrylic paint, I don’t “recommend” it, since there are better quality paint out there. Use what works for you!
So good. Amazing. Now I really want to repaint my hulkbuster
Do integrated suit Spider-Man next and also u did super good keep it up
You did a great job here! Heck, when do you ever do a bad job? 😆 The Patreon idea is really cool, I like those 3D posters!
Hahaha aww thanks!! 💪💪
I love it! I'm going to atempt to do the same to my figure! You're an inspiration! 😀
Ooo, that's awesome!! Good luck!! 💪💪💪

You are awesome bro
Did you add thinner before painting? And recommended varnish pls

What paint do you use
Wow Ty ,can you repaint Spiderman retro pls.💝
What paint brand do you use for painting your figures
Could you costumize mandalorian?

I still really like the first release, but I'm glad they provided all the extra heads and accessories this time
You're the best

And also do black and gold suit Spider-Man and doctor strange
Next i want to see dr strange figure. Becasue his beard is not black or darker like in the movie on figure !
Personally, I feel that the other mk85 is more accurate. The red is more of a cherry color and the gold isn't as bold as this figure.
Agree! The original looks a lot better! I got this one simply because of the heads and the nano gauntlet
