Similar with Chishona is Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 Shona seems a mix of major East African Languages but given that the Shona migrated South from East Africa, the likelihood is that they speak a common older Language that links those Bantu Languages, otherwise, how do they retain Kiswahili, Gikuyu, Kinyarwanda, Kamba, Luganga, Nyanja, Lhuya, etc in their grammar... my theory.

Wrong by ALL definitions Tutsis are Bantus. Remember its a language and culture group with varied genetics and much diversity. Tutsis have high instances of nilotic and cushitic ancestry but so do Kikuyus (like myself Ive done my dna) and many other "Bantus". Stop the outdated colonial propaganda, science and Black consciousness has bypassed those theories.

We Rwandans don't want to be identified according to your terms! We see ourselves as Rwandans as one people and nothing more or less! The language spoken by kikuyus is actually a kinyarwanda hutu dialect also spoken as kikamba .eg mukubwa in hutu means passive sex partner (woman) same as in kikamba.kikuyus adopted this majority spoken language they found here just like the Tutsi in the great lakes region.originally they like the Tutsi spoke cushitic and wrote hieroglyphics.

@@NgugiKamau-rr3zp We are pure Bantus even in our mannerism. We are agriculturalists and less warlike as Cushites. Our people are Baganda, Zulus, Miji Kenda , Gemas, Lubas, Sukuma, Nyamwezi, Hutu etc. You can't talk of assimilation because we have a distinct culture and language only similar but not same with kambas and others. All in all there is no race that 100% pure because of intermarriage or sometimes conguest in case of war where women are captured.
