Sabalenka played very well. Babora used slices and changed the pace of her shots, yet Sabalenka stayed with her and out maneuvered her at times. Those who think she's one dimensional should watch this match. I am ok with anyone who wins the semi finals match between her and Gauff. But i feel who ever wins that match wins the finals.

Without under estimating the Underdog whether it be Zheng or Yastremska because they both play good deep powerful strokes.

They won't complain about something that doesn't bother them, why would they lie and say it bothers them? Just say it bothers you and kewp it moving but u can't make players lie, IT DOESN'T BOTHER THEM or else they would have complained years ago during Sharapova's time because she is still unmatched on her screams.
Grunting is part of the game. Shes not the first nor the last player that has grunted and not the loudest either. Lower the volume or just dont watch.

Serena....they were all as loud or louder than Sabalenka but noone ever said anything. They did try to stop seles from grunting but moral compass took over and it was decided it was not a good idea.

Sabalenka is a ball basher. She has improved tactically. She has to keep the unforced errors to a minimum otherwise she will create her own demise.
Gauff and her pusher style can definitely win if she continuously makes Saba hit extra balls to win points

Sabalenka's squeals on every shot reminds me of Sharapova. It almost makes the match unwatchable, were it not for the mute button. How is this not a hinder? One thing I really liked about Federer: He rarely made a sound, except with his racket.
She’s worse than sharapova. Worst in the history of the sport. She’s still screaming when her opponent is hitting the ball a lot of times. How it’s not a hinderance baffles me.

I was watching Zverev vs Carlito today. I noticed Sasha doesn't grunt much either. I admire that. Some of the men are pretty damn bad too; Nadal and Djoker among them. The women are shrill though.

Win or Lose against Gauff, Sabalenka has been the REAL World No.1 over the past year. Her results in Grand Slams and across all surfaces back it up.

It is so distracting for me to watch. Sabalenka these days. Her grunting is so loud and carries on all the way through her opponent's swing and should be given a warning to stop that nonsense. Can you imagine listening to a game with a sabalenka on each side? The commentators don't seem to care either.
Players don't care (or they would have complained years ago), the crowd certainly loves it or her matches especially that late would be empty. It's usually some HOME VIEWERS who have a problem. Luckily the ticket buyers love it.
@@nhlanhlamakhanya2285 I am not anti grunt, I'm anti excessive grunt. And anybody who listened to that match clearly can observe that that's excessive. If you're still grunting while your ball carries across the net all the way to the baseline when the opponent hits the ball, that's excessive and distracting to their opponent. Me, I am fortunate enough to have a mute button. Also, it's well documented that players do care once it hits the excessive realm.

I really enjoy Aryna Sabablenka but I dont think she will make it past Coco Gauff. The reason that I say that is because both have been in incredible form this AO but Gauff already had the mentally tough way off form type of match in the quarters (these matches happen a lot to champions) and Aryna has not. Also, certain match up just dont sit well with certain players i.e Coco hates the Iga match up and Iga doesnt like the Rybakina match up (or most power player match ups). Coco has a winning record against Sabalenka for a reason (4-2) Aryna expounds so much energy all the time and playing Coco who runs down everything gets into her head and Coco has just enough power to not let Sabalenka totally blow her off the court (only that 1 indian wells match where Gauff played horribly). all of their matches except 2 have gone 3 sets and they both have won exactly 1 straight set match against one another. In the US open Sabalenka had the perfect start and it did not rattle Coco and that non rattling did rattle Sabalenka. If Coco has a decent forehand stroke day (with depth) and concentrates on making the match physical Sabalenka will crumble and Coco will take up residency in her head. I will not be mad at all if Sabalenka wins because you know she will have to earn it but i think it too soon right after the US open which is basically the exact same surface for there to be a different result
Coco has to serve well. She needs to call Andy Roddick for a refresher. Her serve was terrible last match with Marta.
@@nt4081 it was a single match. that came out with a win. how amazing can you be that you played the worst match of your career and still win it. all the champs have done it Steffi has had bad forehand days and Serena has had bad serving days and martina has had bad volley days. its all a part of sport. Moving on to the next match

Aryna was very dialed in here. Just too much firepower for Kreijikova. rematch with CoCo in the semis. I think Sabalenka wins in all ground stroke and serve areas and CoCo wins in speed and mental toughness but both can be weak there on occasion, Sabalenka moreso than coco but Coco can still get tight during matches. if sabalenka plays how she played today and Coco plays how she played today, it shouldn't be much of an issue for Sabalenka to get to her 2nd aussie open final
