a few years ago ii wanted to buy an r360 i couldn't find one anywhere on the internet to buy the only place i could find one that sold was back in 2007 from what i was reading there was only ever 150 of them sold worldwide
You couldn't even even get through Outrun STAGE 1 without crashing? Are you serious? you need to pack up and retire this channel, and I dont mean that as a joke. This is p athetic, really. what a fraud
Hi, just a quick message. Your server security certificate expired 4 days ago, it now brings up a warning stating the connection is non private and may be trying to steal your information. I'm sure this is ultimately hurting the traffic your site sees. Hope this has been of help! I'd love to come check out your arcade when my son is a little older.
The workmanship that Craig puts into his cabinets is amazing. What a great idea he had to 100% accurately replicate the original cabinets. The arcade tour was awesome but I really loved the workshop tour way more.
Thank God for people like Craig who not only preserves what is good memories for many childhood, but also his dedication in repairing them. Thanks to arcade archive in introducing us to this amazing person.
What a humble talented guy. The hydraulic arcade games like Outrun were amazing back in the day and you got to experience that again. The R360 was insane and looked a lot of fun lol.
@@TheStevenWhiting I played the one in the Tracadero. A good one-off experience. Also played their 4 player VR headset game - choppy as hell but they tried!
Alex! This is jaw dropping! So many deluxe cabs, an R360 and rare/sought after cabs in one collection.... and not only that, he makes perfect reproduction cabs... WOW! Thanks for capturing this and big thanks to Craig for sharing....Look forward to a Part 2 if you get the chance. I have no other words!
Thanks Gregg When you thought you’d seen on the collections in the uk another collector pops up with a mind blowing amount of very cool games. Glad you enjoyed it mate
What an astonishing fella he is. All the hard work he's piled into something so niche is just testament to his passion. The world needs more people like you two.
Thanks for taking the time to arrange and visit Craig’s collection and workshop. It really is one of a kind and you’ve captured something really special right now that can be looked back on by many hobbyists in the future. Craig’s work in parts manufacture and whole machines building is second to none and he shipped me parts for my OutRun all the way to Aus several years ago. Outstanding guy with a huge knowledge and skill set.
Just wow, that R360 just brings back memories of bunking off school to go up to Trocadero in London, I remeber being blown away by how cool that game was (being younger I had the stomach for it). Such an impressive place not just the games but the setup and machinery for it all as well.
Cool you got to play it bitd Martin I think I would have loved it as kid but as I’ve got older I’m not so keen on being span around😂 Thanks watching mate
9:52 My Return of the Jedi arcade story. It was the 80s, it was the Isle of Wight, it was in Browns arcade in Sandown (long gone). We'd go there every year for 2 week summer school holiday. I think it was near closing time and I walked into Browns with it mostly empty. The man came out of the change machine booth and used his key to open the arcade cabinet. He clocked up free credits and started to play. I never really liked that game but I was amazed. I was amazed he'd opened the machine, amazed he'd given himself free credits. I said to my cousin "When we're older we can buy Browns and run it". Browns closed and was knocked down in the 90s, he went on to be a doctor, I went on to be an IT Engineer. I've wanted an arcade cabinet ever since but have no room for one. Mame is currently good for me.
He has some great machines in there. If I had a room like this though I would make it exactly like an 80's amusement arcade though. By which I mean.. A Old Period correct Cigarette Machine. Ash trays on stands. Tea/Coffee/Hot Choc Machine. One of those change machines etc. All decor / carpets / lighting all of the era.

What an amazing game room! Great video mate. You're a braver man than me though, I don't think I'd be able to last that long in the R360. Craig should be protected at all costs, what a workshop! What a guy!
The R360 I remember seeing that in an arcade in Blackpool, me & my mate went in to have a go I went first & threw the plane about spinning loops as fast as I could I loved it, when the game finished I got out & said to my mate now your turn, he said I’ll give it a miss. 😂 Thanks for the video this is the first video of the R360 I’ve seen & is one of the video games I talk about the most.
Absolutely amazing, well done Craig for such an incredible collection of retro equipment. I would love to see more content like this, the R360 brings back amazing memories of visiting Piccadilly Circus as a 13yr old boy. I couldn’t afford to ride it myself at the time but have fond memories of my brother taking it for a spin
As a UK collector myself, I cannot even begin to comprehend how much this costm, especially when compared to if this was in America. Insanely beautiful collection, really well put together
amazing! Craig is so cool. super nice and humble and a great passion. Craig is doing so much for the Arcade World, its a huge deal in the long run. great Video.
What an exceptional individual Craig is, Stunning collection, and having the knowledge to not only keep these machines alive but refabricate and modernise them to an extent Stunning, cant be many of them R360's left in the world, i remember seeing one in Segaworld/trocadiro about 21 years ago, never managed to ride one, and to fat now ha
Amazing. I used to play that Sega hologram Time Traveller at my local David Lloyds Bowling, it was a lot more per credit than any other cab in there and was not easy, quite an input delay to get used to. Pretty sure I played that R360 GLOC at The Trocadero, may had been somewhere else though. I love those deluxe sit in simulators like that Outrun. Wish I could visit somewhere local that still had that to play. That Heavyweight Champ game's controller reminds me of an old one I'd forgotten about, don't know the name, but was like a strength test IIRC. Great collection, nice for showing 👍
That was absolutely unreal....huge thumbs up to Craig for letting you show it to us all👍👍👍 Total blast from the past with Heavyweight Champ. I remember playing that in the late 80s in Holland whilst away on a Football trip👌
I know I've only been watching this channel for a relatively short time (since you started moving into the mill with Neil) but this channel has really gone from strength to strength even in that short time and this video is a shining example of that. The deluxe Outrun arcade machine is also my all-time favorite -- the blaring iconic music together with the machine just takes me back in time every time. My 2nd favorite has to be the original Star Wars arcade game where you are an x-wing pilot and go through multiple stages to ultimately bomb and destroy the death star!
Dang !! amazing collection !!! I remember my older cousin lee playing the R360 in an arcade in portsmouth when we little I was too scared to try it, him puking up his candy floss after playing is a treasured memory of mine :o
Man, seeing all these classic arcade machines took me back to my childhood in the 80s of when me and my friends would spend all our time at them. I don't know how many hundreds of quarters I've pumped into those games as a kid. Those were the days. If only I could turn back time...
This got me thinking back just seeing this, and while there was, for a few years anyway, an arcade in my home town that i hung out in... the most nostalgic thing for me though. Was on these yearly vacations we took (late 80s early 90s) and while staying at a particular camp ground along the way. They had an entertainment room. Pool table, vending machines and arcade cabinets. I used to sneak off to it in the middle of the night while one else was around. Took my time to appreciate the sounds, the soft glowing screens, warm summer breeze coming in. Just something about it, It was my favorite part of the trip. Being by myself in that room and the feeling of freedom i had.
Absolutely wonderful video Alex, really enjoyed this and a big thank you to Craig for letting us into his amazing private Arcade and modern day Arcade manufacturing facility. What a stunning collection.
What a great game room! Craig seems to put all your passion into restoring these machines. I'm glad I found this channel. I had so many good memories with the After Burner Delux cabinet. Hugs from Brazil / Portugal.
Fantastic video! What an incredible collection, he must've sunk hundreds of thousands of pounds into it with all those deluxe hydraulic Sega cabs. It would make me so happy if I could ever find a retro arcade that's not hundreds of miles away from me with a deluxe sitdown Outrun - I had a go in one a few times when I was a wee lad at a Butlins in Minehead, but we're talking well over 30 years ago now.
Another great one for sure.....I like first, then I watch on your videos. I hope you saw the Arcade Collectors Europe meeting next month in Seligenstadt....a Museum with a GREAT collection. You would have material for your channel.
Thanks Craig for letting us see your collection and thanks Alex for making the video. Appreciate both your time and effort for doing this. I met Craig once when I started out in the hobby, trying to get a naomi cab up and running, he was so helpful.
What an amazing collection and awesome dude. Those cabinets he made are fantastic. You gotta appreciate people who put in that much pure graft with their hobby 💖
Kids today genuinely won’t understand. This is like a magical place. That feeling I get even now when hearing the music from the machines. It really is something I feel sad about that youth don’t experience this. I love console gaming but when you walk to a unit and jump on say Gauntlet with 3 total strangers it’s just the best
Fantastic collection and a fantastic video. I’d love to have just the deluxe Space Harrier; that would be enough for me. Thanks for sharing the video and for letting us know about all the great work Craig is doing.
I've watched all of your game room tours, it's so interesting seeing all of these weird and wonderful cabinets and I'm glad there's people out there preserving them. Going to come and visit the museum sometime soon!
Amazing line up of games and Craig's a real fountain of knowledge, helps with that old tech lol you once or twice over the years asked for suggestions on who you should try and feature and this is the collection I was hoping you'd do one day so great you managed to swing it Alex. I was honoured to collect a time scanners cab from him a few years ago and had a tour of his place, absolutely stella stuff, cabs all over being worked on, the tech nerve centre, the gamesroom, I remember that time traveller cab, loads of interesting stories, I was very interested in his old amiga days running his bbs, that era was one I have a particular fondness for. Well done on trying the r360, what a sight too behold though, awesome 👍👍
Hi Craig Long time no hear mate, I’ve missed your long comments hope your well. Must have been nice for you to see his collection again as it has changed since I was last there. I picked up a Astro blaster about 5 years ago and was totally blown away by is epic game room. I thought to my self one day I’ll get him on camera and bless him he finally agreed. Awesome collection and all round top bloke. Thanks for watching as always mate
Wow Craig is such a humble guy with so many skills. His collection go hand in hand with his business. Creating, restoring and maintaining classic cabs. Really awesome. Thanks for sharing Alex and Craig. 😊
The R360 is one of the most hilarious things I've seen haha. I played it ONCE as a kid at Sega World in Trocadero (London). I thought it was insane at the time and the idea of it just blew my mind as a child. After finishing my session, I had enough Lol.
The Sega R360 is my all time favorite arcade game!! 🤩🤩 Grew up in south Florida, used to go to s place caked Blockbuster Golf & Games. I remember this game being up a set of stairs and I could never get enough of it. No game has matched it since (that I'm aware if). There are better simulated moving rides but you're not in control of those. If they could have a modern version of this game, you'd find a 40yr old back every weekend!
Wow that was an absolute treat, thanks to Craig for letting us have a glimpse and to you for the video mate. I'd have watched a few more hours, fascinating seeing his ridiculous collection and the incredible workshop, loved it
From the moment I read about the SEGA R360 as an arcade loving 10 year old I was itching for my chance to play on one. By the time I finally stumbled upon one in a massive arcade in Barcelona back in 1994 I had already had the opportunity to have a go on quite a few gyroscopes. These ranged from a very uncomfortable standup one that bruised my arms and legs to some rather nice sitdown variants like those that NASA guys used to train on. There was a fairly hefty queue for the R360 that day and when it was finally my turn to get on it, I buckled up, ready to play G-LOC: Air Battle and the proceeded to spend my entire turn throwing as many barrel rolls and sharp turns as I could at the machine. I was so focused on putting the cabinet through it's paces that I lost all focus on the game objective and ended up in tears of laughter at the sheer ridiculousness of it all. One of my friends was next in line to play and was baffled by my antics, she kept asking what the hell I was doing, to which I just kept laughing and telling her I was having fun. I was fortunate to have had that gyroscope experience prior to finding an R360 as I was not dizzy or sick at all after my turn and went straight back to the start of the queue for another go! Although this time I would actually make the effort to play the game properly and go on to complete the mission with a safe landing. The game was actually made to be pretty short, I guess to avoid one player being on the machine too long due to it's popualrity and the capacity for projectile vomiting to occur. It was and probably still is my ultimate arcade experience memory and it is certainly one I cherish. I really did love the arcades back in the day, what a time it was to be alive :o) ... RE: Craig Walker: What an awesome collection this guy has! Must be very hard work keeping on top of it all. Excellent work that man!
Arcades are literally part of our history. I've spent so much time in arcade saloons, much like many of my firends. Of course by the evolution of home consoles, they went silent over time. It's amazing to see that someone has the means and knowhow to keep these running.
I remember the first and only time I saw a 360. It was Honolulu hawaii back in the late 80's I think. It cost $20 USD to play and had a attendant. I just watched it for hours.
1. That opening is fire. Really full-sounding synthwave. 2. I never knew Carnival wasn't developed by Sega themselves. TIL. 3. My local arcade actually had both Choplifter and Time Traveler (albeit briefly). 4. Major Havok. A long time ago, the creator of said game was prowling forums and mentioned in passing that he originally planned for the final level to be this gigantic maze, but ran out of time. There was some talk about possibly tweaking the ROM to achieve his original intent. Obviously nothing ever came of that, but that was a rare instance of the retro 80s having a voice in (relatively) modern times. 5. Heavyweight Champ. Games like this exist to remind me that even though I grew up during the golden age of arcade games, there were plenty of titles that predated my experience by a number of years. Generally that era before CPUs and RAM were a given on arcade boards. To me, they may as well be in the same realm as that film-based shark shooting game briefly seen in the movie _Jaws._ Stuff I read about, as opposed to being able to tap a childhood memory. It's a stark segregation.
I remember in about 1996 spending a fortune playing daytona usa. Had hydraulic seats and a camera showing your face to people watching. Competing against 3 other people. People was queuing to have a go
I always wondered where all the machines went after the Trocadéro shut, now I know. What an amazing collection with some lovely rare cabs. I remember being amazed by the hologram cab, unable to work out how it could be possible. I also remember watching people play the championship boxing game, some people were so into it that the machine looked like it was being assaulted. As for Glock, I used to get sick just watching people play, and that was without the sausage roll and cake. Great work in bringing up this to us 😊
Thank you so much for this video, it was awesome. Wow Craig has some collection. Awesome guy and so talented. He managed to assemble a custom panel for me, allowing me to play my Planet Harriers board in a Naomi cab. Absolute legend. That R360 is something else. That's probably the best footage I've ever seen of one up and running. Glad you managed to keep your sausage rolls and cake down haha. That Brave Firefighters you tripped over is incredibly rare as well, it uses the same hardware as Planet Harriers. Awesome game. Thanks again to Craig and your good self for another incredible tour. 😀
Thanks for watching as always mate and your kind words. Unfortunately the Brave firefighters I couldn’t get any footage of but it was working, he changed the hose over just as I was leaving and it worked. So many games and so little time to film everything but I picked some of the best and I can always go back for a part 2
I remember arcade rooms back in the early 80s. being very young, I thought of them as magical. because it seemed like the variety was infinite, and designs were so futuristic. I even had dreams of going to the old arcades.
What an amazing engineer, craftsman and collection. Also, Cool channel and great work! A really entertaining & nostalgic trip that I really appreciate.
I never usually comment before the end of a video but I’m halfway through and this is definitely the greatest arcade related TH-cam video I’ve ever seen! Massive respect to Craig, and thanks for showing us all these amazing machines.
I was hoping to see the Afterburner II Deluxe, I found one of those that had been left out in a field and restored it to working condition many years ago. The wiring had been chewed by mice and the motor drive had been butchered and took some experimentation to get working because at the time I could not find diagrams. The best day was when it finally passed the self test and everything worked and moved about. Great memories . 😃
I’m sorry Alex- as soon as you said “oh my god, the sausage rolls are comin up!” I couldn’t stop laughing! What an incredible game room! Not only are the cabinets themselves incredible and rare- their condition is simply amazing! They all look brand new! 👍🏻
Thank you for brining this tour to us, OMG… just EPIC!!! I love you in the R360 man… haha! I was laughing my ass off. You did a hell of a lot better than I did, good job man!!! ✊🏻 very fun video!
Hi Ralph, It’s funny I watched your video after I uploaded mine and thought you came of way better than me 😂 So cool we’ve had the same experience on this game as it’s so rare to find let alone working. Thanks for swinging by and watching Arcade bro as it’s much appreciated 😎👍

Thanks Craig for letting us see your collection and thanks Alex for making the video. Appreciate both your time and effort for doing this. I met Craig once when I started out in the hobby, trying to get a naomi cab up and running, he was so helpful.
Cool you got to meet Craig he’s a very humble guy with a real passion for the hobby.
Glad you enjoyed it
Craig is an absolute don of the ancient heritage. Full spectrum dominance, Well pldarchive
What an amazing collection and awesome dude. Those cabinets he made are fantastic. You gotta appreciate people who put in that much pure graft with their hobby 💖
Thank you
I actually played Brave Firefighters in the old Sega Arcade on Las Vegas Boulevard back in 2009, never seen it since
Wow a genius hidden away..
Played the hologram in a arcade in Cheltenham brought back memories
Thank you for the great vid. And a special thanks to Craig for keeping these classics. Cheers!
I can't even imagine how much time and money Craig has put into that. Incredible stuff.
He’s a dedicated Arcadian that’s for sure.
Thanks for watching
May explain why he looks so miserable
It saves a lot of money when he buys machines that are broken and fixes them himself.
@@tom11zz884 He’s very happy I’m his own skin.
Inheritance.
I could agree more and competing for that high score is always so much fun in a arcade.
Thanks for watching
Fantastic collection and a fantastic video. I’d love to have just the deluxe Space Harrier; that would be enough for me. Thanks for sharing the video and for letting us know about all the great work Craig is doing.
Thanks for your kind words
This was fantastic to watch, I enjoyed it from start to finish. Can't wait to see more, many thanks for a great trip down memory lane.
Thanks for stating the production dates on our favorite classics, most people don’t bother.
I've watched all of your game room tours, it's so interesting seeing all of these weird and wonderful cabinets and I'm glad there's people out there preserving them. Going to come and visit the museum sometime soon!
Fantastic look forward to meeting you 😎👍
Amazing line up of games and Craig's a real fountain of knowledge, helps with that old tech lol you once or twice over the years asked for suggestions on who you should try and feature and this is the collection I was hoping you'd do one day so great you managed to swing it Alex.
Hi Craig
Long time no hear mate, I’ve missed your long comments hope your well.
Thanks for watching Nick glad you enjoyed it
What an absolutely beautiful collection, and I never realised how loud Outrun's "Attract Mode" was :D
The R360 is one of the most hilarious things I've seen haha. I played it ONCE as a kid at Sega World in Trocadero (London). I thought it was insane at the time and the idea of it just blew my mind as a child. After finishing my session, I had enough Lol.
Absolutely astounding collection, you're right, he is doing a service to the community!
Wow! What absolute legend
The Sega R360 is my all time favorite arcade game!! 🤩🤩
Grew up in south Florida, used to go to s place caked Blockbuster Golf & Games. I remember this game being up a set of stairs and I could never get enough of it. No game has matched it since (that I'm aware if). There are better simulated moving rides but you're not in control of those.
If they could have a modern version of this game, you'd find a 40yr old back every weekend!
Oh and never had any motion sickness, being upside down was my favorite!
Omg wow that’s super impressive and he’s doing a solid job. I believe this guy made my mate a stand up Outrun cabinet
Absolutely stunning collection, and a lot of my amazing memories from the Arcades. 10/10 for this episode mate, absolutely smashing. WOW!
Thank you so much, such kind words
Wow that was an absolute treat, thanks to Craig for letting us have a glimpse and to you for the video mate. I'd have watched a few more hours, fascinating seeing his ridiculous collection and the incredible workshop, loved it
Thanks Ade glad you enjoyed it 😎👍
From the moment I read about the SEGA R360 as an arcade loving 10 year old I was itching for my chance to play on one.
Great video , great tour of an awesome collection
That is absolutely incredible. What a collection.
I’ve played in one of those 360 cabinets. What’s weird is remembering exactly where I played these beauties first time.
I remember seeing an R360 in Blackpool as a kid. Never had the bollocks to go on it. Fair play to you.
Haha never again though 😂
Beautiful collection
Great work in bringing up this to us 😊
Nothing here from the Troc but thanks for watching.
CNC goals!! Great workshop Craig!! Thx for filming it Alex.
I remember arcade rooms back in the early 80s. being very young, I thought of them as magical. because it seemed like the variety was infinite, and designs were so futuristic. I even had dreams of going to the old arcades.
Brilliant video, Craig is indeed a genius, amazing to see.
Thank you
What an amazing engineer, craftsman and collection.
Also, Cool channel and great work! A really entertaining & nostalgic trip that I really appreciate.
Ok, the guy knows how to handle big contraptions. And also, the standard melancholy face of the cabinet collector!
I remember Sega World.
Trocodero in London.
Wonderful days out !
I never usually comment before the end of a video but I’m halfway through and this is definitely the greatest arcade related TH-cam video I’ve ever seen! Massive respect to Craig, and thanks for showing us all these amazing machines.
Wow Thank you 😃
Glad you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed making it.
WOW! What a collection, what a workshop and what an unassuming humble guy. Clearly immensely talented. Great tour. Really enjoyed that
Thank you 🙏
What a fascinating guy! I want his full back story. Enigma!
I’m sorry Alex- as soon as you said “oh my god, the sausage rolls are comin up!” I couldn’t stop laughing! What an incredible game room! Not only are the cabinets themselves incredible and rare- their condition is simply amazing! They all look brand new! 👍🏻
Haha yea wasn’t a good feeling having sausage rolls spinning around like that 🤢
Thanks for watching Russ
Amazing collection! laughed all the way through that R360 run, what a cab.
Haha you wanted me to throw up 😂
Thank you for brining this tour to us, OMG… just EPIC!!! I love you in the R360 man… haha! I was laughing my ass off. You did a hell of a lot better than I did, good job man!!! ✊🏻 very fun video!
Hi Ralph,
It’s funny I watched your video after I uploaded mine and thought you came of way better than me 😂
So cool we’ve had the same experience on this game as it’s so rare to find let alone working. Thanks for swinging by and watching Arcade bro as it’s much appreciated 😎👍
