Wonderful video Serge, I love your new format of taking us with you on your photo shoot and then showing the retouching.

Excellent Serge. Loved the last one in particular. Looking forward to seeing an episode where you composite the moon in. I think that that added a lot of visual interest to it.

Beautiful job on these photos, I've been to Zion National Park and it was an amazing place. Wish I had been into photography then but I was much younger.

I was there a couple of months ago. It is always spectacular. Be sure and visit both the eastern section, with its hoodoos, Checkerboard Mesa and wild sheep, and the Kolob Canyon section.

Hello, impressive photos. I'm trying to figure out the time when sun sets below the mountains for the Canyon Overlook trail. Any chance you could check/recall the approximate time and date when the photo there was taken? Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing. I guess he was trying to get shots in less traveled/cliche areas. But his pictures looked like a total bust compared to others I've seen from him.

Thomas Heaton and Serge Ramelli's approaches are totally opposed. Thomas Heaton explained many times that he's trying to focus his work on intimate landscapes rather than just photograph eye catching places that have already been photographed by everyone. I think his approach is much more interesting because he's very careful about composition, details, light... But sure, it's much easier to take a picture of a well know viewpoint and then turn saturation, magenta, contrast and clarity all the way up...

I notice you use your little travel tripod. I know it's light and easy to carry, but do you miss being able to shoot standing up and not having to lean way over to use it? I've been looking for an ultra lightweight one, but they don't seem to make a 6' + one.

Is Light Room only available in subscription form or can you purchase the program? The only editor I have have is an old version of ACDSee. I would really love to try a Lr version like you have. I am just getting into photography. I am shooting with a Nikon D70s, I know it's old but it's all I have right now.

Once you are finished with the edit of a picture. You have to transform it to JPG? Or not?
I have been following you for a while, please answer

Hey Serge, would you be willing to have a crack at doing a video on Affinity Photo and/or On1Raw?

Very nice, but you're heavy handed with the contrast.

May you please show and explain better, maybe in the next tutorial, your flow starting from the way you import pictures from an sd card or directly from your camera or from the hard drive to lightroom and how to handle catalogues, picture formats etc etc? This remains quite unclear for me... For the rest, great tutorial as usual! 😉👍

Ah Ok Sony Colors... Canon colors are for my taste far more suitable for landscapes. I owned Sony a5100 and Panasonic GF7 cameras and returned them in favor for a Canon DSLR; I kept a Sony RX100 but only because it is pocketable, whenever possible I shoot with canon even if the RX100 photos are sharper (yes the RX100 is a beast, is blowed even the a5100 out of the water in terms of sharpness)

I can't understand what you are converting your files into something that is a smaller file. Could you talk slower?
