Fantastic video Cole - you always do your research, and it’s evident in your long-form and short-form videos. Regarding Caleb, IMO deserves a bit of grace. Most rookie QBs who make it into the league are able to learn under a veteran QB. Mahomes is a perfect example - he has talked many times about how much he learned from Alex Smith - from the way he watches game footage to the way he takes notes and more. Let’s see how Caleb finishes the season and performs next year.
Great stuff Cole! I think many of us were shocked when Trevor Lawrence became the highest paid QB in the league short-lived). Not surprised he’s out for shoulder soreness. QBs are basically expected to carry the offense (or team) on their shoulders, and to shoulder the blame for most losses. 🤷🏼♀️
Bears doing dumb bear stuff and hoping it'll be different this time is a joke that keeps on giving but at least you don't have to make it up they stink 😂
Look at how Mahomes played in the SB vs the Bucs when his line was hurt. The difference is that Mahomes knees his offense very well. The Bears don't have the stability to have the same offense running year in year out. The Chiefs, Packers & 49ers are examples of having every player taught the system over several years so the only players who get in the field are the ones ready to play. All the hype that Caleb W was the finished product was to get him drafted first overall not because it was true. The Colts are another example. Both teams need a Bill Walsh, Bill Belichick, Kyle Shanahan type coach who comes in and installs the systems. There's a huge gap in NFL coaching. Some just don't know the big picture. An offensive minded HC is only the answer if he has 2-3 seasons to have his offense installed and have players who are immersed in it, especially the QB. Caleb W is being allowed to run around and try to make plays. There has to be structure.
Ben Johnson, the Lions hotshot offensive coordinator, turned down head coaching jobs because there was only one team he wanted to go to. Who was that? The Bears. In one fell swoop they could've had the best head coaching candidate in the last cycle and dealt a devastating blow to a division rival. But their GM Poles thought Walrdon was better. The ineptitude at every level of the Bears is staggering.
The bears should’ve cleaned house last off season when they got Caleb, yea the defence might be good cause of Eberflus and stats but if you watch tape, the defence is overrated
Bears should clean house, not just HC, but GM too. What idiot thinks it's a good idea to not focus on what made a QB great in college ... what he's comfortable with, and instead turn him into a cautious game manager. Same idiotic thinking the Titans did with Mariota. Bears, if you want a game manager, take one in the 3rd round.
I think the narrative that people have formed around Caleb is making it easier for people to already flip on him as if hes not a rookie as if every rookie ever was just lights out and balling out right away. Brady sat, Mahomes sat, Peyton sucked(badly). Every QB is different. The idea that Jayden Daniels is better is just assumption based on two totally different situations. Both have taught us coaching and development of a QB is key. The Bears failed to coach and develop Caleb for a myriad of reasons. One being: who tf lets kliff kingsbury walk when your new QB fits his system and style of coaching like a glove? Clear ineptitude at the highest rungs of the Bears organization. The Bears would have failed every single QB in this draft. Just like they would have failed Mahomes when they drafted Mitchell Trubisky. Also the Bears and everyone else needs to realize that Caleb is young Russell Wilson. He needs a stout running game a damn good offensive line and a playbook built around him moving around outside the pocket. Until those things happen Caleb will not succeed in the NFL. And unless he grows an inch or two/starts standing on his tippie toes like Drew Brees he'll NEVER be an elite pocket passer.
LOL @ Jackafee and A-A-Ron getting toasted by that tweet! Two of a kind those two are.

I think Williams is an arrogant and cocky guy. In my opinion he’s getting his Karma.
