    Customer here. I have had these for several years. They work very well and I have not had any major issues and my roof is very low slope. I recommend them. One thing I can say is that Raindrop has a weak Certified Installer program. The product being a type of plastic (but tough) needs to be installed carefully to avoid looking sloppy and uneven. I had to have my first contractor come back three times to get it right - and Raindrop took a hands-off approach to installer issues or warranty. I advise any homeowner to make sure they understand how the product should look - sloped, even, uninformed and get up on a ladder and inspect before a contractor is complete. Again I do recommend the product.

    Thank you for your review, FINALLY. We've been installing this product for 8 years now. Tried the others and tore them all out and reinstalled RDGG. There are installation videos from RDGG on you tube that absolutely teach you how to install this amazing product. You can trim with knife, shapers, circular saw, bend, shape, and bend the tabs down so that they do not have to go UNDER the tile. NO SHARP metal to cut your hands. Cut 45's for the outside edges with ease and hide it with the corner miter. You can even rest them on pvc tubing to get the correct angle for the debris to fall right off. We've had TREES fall on the customers house and crush the gutters. We just reused the same guard. You can't do that with the aluminum screen door types. Those who doubt that there are "no complaints in 20 years".... post the link of the customer complaint below. I'd like to see it. I wouldn't use a collapsible ladder, but have in a pinch. This product is superior to all covers that lay flat and have snag points. I do not work for RDGG, but I ordered all the info and sales displays and samples and was sold after I received it and installed it. NO COMPLAINTS in 8 years, nothing but praise.

    I'm a Klaus Roofing Dealer in South Georgia and we install Raindrop. It's a great product and super easy to install. Seems to always be an easy upsell for our sales folks. By the way, I love your reviews so keep them up. Lastly, Larry and his whole contractor nation crew (especially Stephanie and Jeremy) are awesome folks. I would like for you to get an interview with Larry or Stephanie. Stephanie is the Vice President of Klaus Roofing and you will probably be blown away after interviewing her. Hell you might even buy a roof after the interview lol, that's how strong her personality is.

      @@RoofingInsights3.0 it works so well that I offer a lifetime no-clog warranty. Usually we just have to remove the last piece over the outlet and clean a handful of debris out. It’s no charge to the homeowner. Once they buy Raindrop, we own the gutter service for as long as they own the home.

    I had Raindrop install on my roof but they did not work well. After further research, I concluded that they were not installed correctly. They were not on the same slope as the roof. And therefore, active as a damn. I’m going to have them reinstalled by a company because I think it is a good product if they’re install correctly.

    I am probably being picky but you should use ladder stand off so as to not lean the ladder on the gutter.

    You mentioned how that aluminum screen guard doesn't keep the shingle granules out, but the slat style of the RainDrop definitely wouldn't either. Yeah they're tougher, but you're still not getting the filtering abilities like micro mesh has. And we have a large maple that drops helicopter seeds, and I can bet they could still get caught in this.

    • @ko6128
      @ko6128 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hey man, for someone who started from nothing, charging $500 just to be on your directorii is insane. No wonder nobody know about you and you need to go to shark tank to get publicity lol don’t get me wrong, I like that content but as far as guards go, this product sucks, and you should never put anything under your shingles. At least in Florida it’s a no no.

    • @roofingtips
      @roofingtips ปีที่แล้ว

      The BBB charges over $500 a year, gives out way less leads, has no guarantee, and gives A+ rating to anyone willing to pay…. Directorii is a steal compared to that nonsense

      If you can’t afford $500 to go through background process and for us to recommend you I don’t think we comfortably can back you up with $20,000. People who think $500 is insane will think the same about their first warranty call

      Who cares about your recommendation if you have no traffic to your website. You don’t rank anywhere for any keywords in the gutter industry. There is no ROI on being on your directory. (Prove me wrong and I’ll sign up) I’d probably get more hits on yellowpages lol
      And I’d love to see you on shark tank. What are you going to tell them? I have a website, give me money? Lol

      @@roofingtips I’m definitely not advocating for BBB it’s a scam in its self but at least everyone knows about it. The only value Directorii has is if people know about it and actually trust it. If they don’t then it’s useless which at this point nobody knows.

    Can’t trust a opinion from a contractor using a telescoping ladder 🤦🏻‍♂️

    • @Official_STVN_SXTN
      @Official_STVN_SXTN ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Can't trust a contractor or for that matter any human who is so closed minded that you would say such non sense, I been saying for the longest time that the biggest issue with the roofing industry are those contractors who have been doing it the longest. They are typically arrogant and stuck in their old ways, and refuse to evolve with the times, they usually don't market themselves or their company well and largely go unnoticed. Going back to your point, when you drive out in a Tesla or any other sedan it is smart to have a practical ladder that will do a solid job. I don't think he bought it for the product to perform for 25 years, he just wants to have it for the convenience factor, and I'm guessing you have no real experience with a higher quality telescoping ladder. Some people are just negative and blurt out random garbage. Think twice before you click SEND.
