Thanks Man for taking the time to do this video. It went appreciated. Definitely a lot of controversy regarding gutter guards. In the North they all ice over during winter.
Great video!! Good to know thanks for sharing. How does the hydroflow perform in the winter with ice build up? Have you gotten a chance to see them in action over the winter yet? They seem like the best way to go as far as mesh goes.
You helped me focus on the right question to ask, "what kind of trees do you have around your house?" I have the helicopter seeds. Should I use the mesh type of gutter guard?
Nobody is talking about gutter guards on roofs with solar panels. That’s what I have to think about. My solar panels ending just next to gutter, my neighbor end of solar panels and gutters is around 1’. Snow from my solar panels easily slid down. My neighbor have absolutely different situation. Snow staying there and accumulating. Now I’m thinking what gutter guards will be best for me? How snow will behave ? My neighbor gutters has been damaged from snow weight.
Okay a couple questions/comments. A little background I have a maple and a birth tree in my back yard so I'm constantly cleaning the gutters of maple seeds and the birch seed pods. Seems like the ledges that you talk about that keep the water from going over the edge would be something where the birch seed pods and maple seeds would collect. Any comments on that?
Thanks for the review. How do these flat guards do with tree debris (pollen, buds, twigs, etc.)? Iwould think it would just pile up on the flat area. I saw your other guard review that included the under shingle surface tension design, but I don't see any reference to under shingle mesh screen designs. Is that for a reason?
Any gutter guard that does not go under the shingles and angles down to the front of the gutter is useless. Gutter guars that sit flat on top of the gutter just create a shelf for debris to sit on.
I'm just trying to get someone to email me back about a refund. I bought it 2 days ago and it's pretty much awful, honestly. Which surprises me because I love their TH-cam channel. Take it from me, the TH-cam channel has all the value, not the course.
I spend most of my time throwing them out. So much dirt still gets underneath the guards causing more damage and resulting in a much more expensive clean. Add it to the list of scams right alongside the Microsoft Technical Support con and the classic Nigerian Prince scam.

Thanks for the video!! I live here in FL without pine tree's. Looks like Bulldog. Nice review.

Why do some people say go under shingle some say go under drip edge?

probably the best option!

It put those on some of my gutters, it does exactly what you said. It holds the debris on top as it sits flat.

How do you buy Hydro Flow gutter guards? The sight makes you register as a company.

That’s what I’m seeing. I’m looking for a guard that’ll perform well on a standing seam with hidden faster. Not a lot out there. 😏
