Good summary. One thing I will say about ab/core-focused exercises imo is that they can be really great for back strength/support and overall injury reduction if done right!
To be honest a lot of people that I see in the gym are either scrolling through their phone, talking to each other, walking, or using a treadmill. These same people wonder why months have gone by and they still looks the same. While me I’m on the assault bike for 1 hour which works both my upper and lower body and 1/2 hour on the eleptical machine which again works upper and lower body. To me a great workout whether cardio or lifting is when you come home exhausted and sore. This means you put it all on the table and now it’s time to recover. Only hard work will bring you results.
Mrs Chapman, you are right on it! Keep up the good advice I am sure you soon will be much more visible on the net too! I understand your lesson and example You are not embellishing any part and you have a very comprehensive look at this belly fat question Thank you for your videos,I am well lion my way
So according to non spot reduction. One simply needs to have 250 calorie defecit and sit ups and leg lifts and get abs???? or alternate fasting and do sit ups every day.
No. I actually mention why that's not a good approach. I talk about full body weight training, more physical activity, and (possibly) abs exercises in addition to a calorie deficit (for some people).
Pretty easy - get into ketoses and consume enough protein, 1-2g per lbs. There a big misconception about "calories in calories out" which doesn't work by number of reasons, for starters we aren't closed systems.
If we're talking about increasing temperature in an area (belly) then certainly those sweat gimmicks like sauna suits and waist trainers at very least contribute to the proceedings, right?🤔
Not likely. There's a difference between mobilizing your fat stores by internal cellular processes and just heating your body from the outside. Sauna suits will help you lose water. Waist trainers are a very long story, but I definitely don't recommend those.
2024~The word 'calorie' should be illimated from English and replaced strictly by the carb count consumed. For one simple reason .... it is easier to understand! I prefer HIIT as my choice of exercise along with the Tbar exercise.

Strengthening my core and glutes helped with my low back pain

Yes, I mentioned that towards the end of the video. TVA exercises can be particularly helpful for back pain prevention.
Resistance exercise and plenty of walking plus a balanced diet with a calorific deficit
Ive been avoiding abs for 20 years 💪

I find with going for run same days I do weigh training helped lot start seeing definition with discipline in kitchen

hell yes!
Great video! Love the info.
I’m post menopausal and while I have put on some in my belly, I still struggle with the butt and thighs.
You need to build the ab muscles so a caloric deficit can expose the ab muscles.
I mention that in the video.

Will weight training reduce fat in long term?
Yes. Weight training is key when burning fat and keeping muscle mass as well as a calorie deficit.
Is this true

????
No, complex carbs are good for you 🙄
No, calories matter. Carbs can be high and you will still lose fat if your calories are low enough for you to achieve a calorie deficit.
