Two black freight cars followed. The train was already halfway into the shadows of the forest at the foot of the mountain.
The last wagon was a passenger car with white curtains and a white table through the window.
On the deck, a man in clothes was washing his face.
When the train disappeared into the shadow of the woods, a white smoke remained in the boy's eyes.
Kodama gave birth to Kodama and disappeared into the sky.
The boy remembered the Hagenbeck Circus in Germany that he had seen in a magazine one day.
