I thought this was going to be a meme but this is actually pretty empathetic and comforting. I had to go to Planned Parenthood once and have the doctor fish out my ring birth control. I have vaginismus so sometimes when things go up there, it's too tight and painful for me to remove on my own. I felt embarrassed about it but she was super nice.

It's been drilled into my head since I was 10 never to leave a tampon in - they scared me for over a decade because of the conditioning, and I always was super careful with them. To this day, I worry sooooo much about toxic shock syndrome - we really had the fear of God instilled in us never to leave our tampons in, it was scary :(
I would love to see a video on Ovarian Cancer. Ovarian cancer can go undetected for years without revealing its existence. I think it would be cool to see how it is diagnosed and what symptoms to look out for.
I went to remove a tampon and couldn't find the string, thought I must have taken it out and forgot about it. I already had a pad on (I use both, heavy bleeder) and since there was no blood on it, I didn't bother putting another tampon in. The more I thought about it, the more convinced I was it was never removed. I couldn't feel anything inside of me, so I just tried pushing.... eventually it came out. This was probably 8-10 years ago now. Is that a bad method of removal? 😅

Call local doctors offices within your area and see if they offer sliding scale fees based on income. There are doctors office that will work with you to offer a payment program along with reduced charges for services based upon your income and people within your home.
I LOVE your videos! Ive watched every single one of them. I just wanted to make a recommendation. For example when you where showing and opening up the tool to take the tampon out that plastic was very loud and kinda disruptive and there are things like that in every video. This is just an advice since I watch your videos when I’m sleepy or want to relax and I think many people would agree with me. If you could be a little bit more delicate when doing certain things in videos that would be amazing. I love you and your content so much. Please don’t take it the wrong way❤
I came from an older video to this hoping you’ll see this cause it’s on a newer vid, as someone in your position do you feel that having male gynos is like detrimental( dramatic but couldn’t think of a better word)to women going to these more Intimate type things? I’ve always thought male gynos were odd because I imagine it’s always so creep in his 20s thinking it’s a good path cause he’ll get to creep on women ( especially young girls)
They're used to it, it's their job. If you feel uncomfortable just don't go to a male gynecologist. Some women prefer male over female. Also it's not like they're thinking about inappropriate stuff while doing an exam, not every man is a pervert. Plus, it's not a pleasant situation and they're not enjoying it.
This literally happened to me. 😅 I had a papsmear and was on my period and didn’t take my taking out before hand 😅 the doctor had to take it out for me 😅…. Embarrassing lol

To teach people, while reducing anxiety. To normalize conversations that no one ever talks about. So patients feel comfortable coming into the clinic for concerns they may often feel embarrassed of 😊
I hope you don’t introduce yourself as a gynecologist if you’re a PA. I love the vast majority of the PAs, NPs, and midwives I work with, but they aren’t OB/GYNs. Using that title creates the impression that you have completed a level of training you haven’t. Edit: and yes I get this is for entertainment, but considering how many non-physicians I’ve seen try to introduce themselves as doctors or specialists, you never can tell.
Not to worry! Absolutely love and respect the physicians I work alongside. Always introduce myself as Leanna the PA or “I’m the PA you’ll be seeing” as I’ve shown in my own channel name and videos. I completely understand where you are coming from, as I’ve met a few APPs that introduce themselves as what you mentioned.
