Nah this is one of the cleanest G87 M2s Ive ever seen. In my opinion theres one "mod" that needs to be done, changing the active daytime while lights to yellow, it would look even meaner.
I have been on the fence about the yellow DRLs. It’s been done by everyone now and white seems like the one that stands out from the rest. I personally like the white DRL on the blue. On black, the yellow DRL is sooo good. It really depends on the color of the car. For mine with the champagne wheels, the yellow DRLs might clash. The other option was doing RGB DRLs and finding a color that matches the zandvoort blue 😃🙌
gorgeous! love your videos, thank you for letting us follow along the build. i'm expecting delivery of my G87 next month, and am feeling inspired by your mods.
Stumbled on your videos, looking at the M2 or M4 for myself. I'm also in Ottawa, and I've seen your car on Bank Street a couple of times as I live in the area. Looks sick 👌 and great content!
That’s awesome. Thank you for watching the videos. Both are great cars, can’t go wrong with either. I preferred the looks of the M2 more and that’s why I got it. It’s essentially the same platform underneath 😃🙌
@@GemK99 the new M2 is as big as the M4 and the M3. You might it relatively spacious. Passengers in the rear sitting behind you however might not share the same opinion 😂
You could likely get away without drilling new holes. With the tape and the stock bolt points, it would be good for most driving. If you however plan to do track days you might want to install the extra self tapping screws for extra rigidity. I removed the front lip and I have now installed it without the tape and the extra screws. So far it has been ok, but I am not racing or doing track days with it. I am going to remove it for winter driving now 😃
Looks great. Although the blue looks good, it's such a shame BMW doesn't offer more colors on the M2. Would love to see some individual colors on the G87...
@@thedevthing That would be a start. Probably they don't have the paintshop facilities in place in Mexico to offer individual colors compared to the M3. Of course these colors are quite expensive but depending on where you live the M2 is an expensive car anyway. I think there would be some takers for that if they'd offer it. The M2 starts at over 100K USD in my country... still 30K less than an M3...
I don't notice any slowness. It really depends on the weight. These wheels are lighter than stock in 21'' Also M Performance parts offers a 20/21 setup. Heavier wheels would likely impact power delivery.
I am on the wait list for the G87 and plan on getting the ZB as well along with the AutoID kit. How long did it take for you to install it? Also was your car already PPF and ceramic coated at all before the install?
Hey there congrats on your ride. The install of the autoid kit is very easy and it took maybe 2-3hrs max with all the parts and us taking our time and filming along the way. The car was ceramic coated and PPFd prior to install 🙌😃
@@thedevthing I can’t understand the hate some people give the G87. I think it’s a case of monkey read monkey say. Where people read a comment and then regurgitate it to try and sound informed. I have seen it so many times over the years in relation to car reviews. Anyway never mind that, love your car!!! The combination of that colour and the Champaign LT3’s is stunning!!! So much so it has inspired me to order the same colour for my ordered M2. Do you have any rubbing with the 10.5 at front and 11’s in the rear? I intend to order the 20’s and 21’s as well, stealing another of your ideas’s lol.

I hate that so many people are changing the clean white to the lame yellow. Looks so much better white.

My favorite G87. You have a amazing attention to detail. Please keep uploading vids on this beauty.
Thank you, I really appreciate that feedback 🙌😃🙏
Wow…Your providing a great road map on what the platform can look like.
Appreciate that. I love how’s its come along so far.
Thank you for the support 😃🙌🙏

@thedevthing Personally, I love the way it looks. You made a great choice and tasteful mods! I have to see how I fit in one since I'm 6'3".

I finally picked up my car yesterday, same spec as yours, and i am loving 🤔
Thats amazing. Congrats on your ride. Are you going to mod it with some @autoid stuff?
That Atlantis Blue's my favourite F80!
💯😃🙌
Looks amazing, well done. What wheels are those please?
Thank you, I appreciate that.
The wheels are from Edelweiss 😃🙌

Looks AMAZING!!!! 👌👍❤
Thank you 🙌😃🙏
Loving the build
Thank you and appreciate the support 😃🙌🙏
did you have to drill holes, or did you just drill into open holes, because I don't wanna really drill holes into my car at the bottom.

When I installed the first time I drilled the tapping screw onto some parts of the bumper. It’s under the bumper and it does not bother me much.
Looks great.

I think more colours are coming for the M2C 😃

@ezb77 that’s the logic I heard through the interviews I listened to. Seems like the Mexico plant was a success in general
21s in the back make the car slower or does it feel the Same ?

Hi, love the car. What size HRE wheels do you have on the car. ?
They are not HRE. They are Edelweiss wheels and they are 20” front and 21” rear

Did you sell your KW HAS?
It’s gone already. 😃🙌
Nice! I think it's a nice car, but I'd imagine any other front bumper would look better
If there was a different bumper available, I would definitely consider it. But this is a great look without breaking the bank 😂😃🙌
how u doing?, like, epic unboxing. Prabhul-
Thank you, appreciate the support
It's definitely an improvement, but it's still a bit like putting lipstick on a pig.
😂😂😂 i like roast pig so.. we all good 😂😂
I love the look of the g87! Better still, I think it’s a PERFECT representation of a modern e30 (and best looking) M3.
Every angle is perfection!
