Indeed, might lead to a tragic future if he still feels this way. You should do something because YOU want to. But at the same time kids might not know what they want so parents/grownups can push you in the right direction. But again this seems fishy.. Hope the kid finds his, and genuine happiness, in the ring or outside the ring.

The dad said “i wana box to make you happy” so i think thats what the kid meant “because of my dad” as in i wanted to make my dad happy so I continued to do it

What's crazy is how everyone didn't catch that and take his passive way of talking as humble you can see It in his eyes there's no passion for boxing in them at all simply just what he was taught which was done with societal pressure by his father i hope this kid grows up and find his true passions and follows his heart

I beated up kickboxing,bbj guy from my school.. What makes them think wrestling can beat boxing. I know how Wrestling moves. Just keep the distance and break their jaw. These internet warriors know nothing, they never fought from their whole life.
@Jacob Sirak my guy Boxing is the most effective sport in street fight.. You need to punch jab,straight with your power and footwork. When you got 3 enemies, you can handle it pretty well with boxing.. 2 years is enough for average people... Wrestling on concrete while other guys is kicking you will be deadly.. kicking on person sitting on floor makes super deadly kick with shoes on.. So throw a double jab to pressure him and put a Straight on his face immediately switch sides and follow up Hooks. You got your first knockout so be happy i'd teached you.
@Jacob Sirak i started boxing at 7th grade and i sparred with my mma friend since 8th grade.. He's overweight tho but im faster with hands. I accidentaly hit his face hard, he blackeyed, then wanna spar?

yeah most likely. he said at the start he used to hate it but his dad made him continue. 5 seconds later he was like "I continued to get better and now I love the sport" or something close to that and you can tell he's reading right off a script.

@@MKAPPAAA I have noticed that as well usually body shots won't do much if you have an adrenaline rush unless you get hit in the liver. A strong punch to the face would hurt tho.

In the beginning he hated it, now he loves it. His dad was just trying to let him go into a new thing, it's not serious. It's normal for kids nowadays to hate New things that they have to do, but after a while they might love it. Now the boxing pro loves it

With his right hand he seems to slap instead of punch and as a boxing coach myself that will not count as a point if you hit. Other than that his head Movement is crazy and footwork is perfect knows his distance and great counters.
