These are definitely 🔥 shoes. The black toes are my favorite Jordan 1's . I have both the 2013 and 2016 pairs deadstock. Was so happy to cop these 2024 reimagined black toes just before the push back. Will definitely double up on release day. As a og at 54 I love the Air Jordan text and black tongues for the nostalgia. Great video and review guys 👍

Facts these are clean I do wish they had a wings logo instead but the rest is perfect especially that black tongue just like the OGs the white tongue is more nostalgic to those who copped the 2016 pair I just think the black tongue makes them more unique
Start wearing the 2016’s I been sitting on them and they started to separate lol so I’m wearing them more often
I prefer the wings logo too, but at the same time it’s pretty cool to have just one pair that looks like the sample. I wouldn’t want this to be the norm moving forward, but it’s definitely cool to have one like this. Glad you guys are safe.

I’m just so used to seeing the black toe with a white tongue that it makes it really hard for me to be a fan of these. I had the 2016 pair and got rid of them because I was in need of money at the time. I’m probably gonna scoop a 2016 pair for a good price or just go for the satin version because it’s going for under retail rn.

I 💯% agree with Buckets!!! Black toes are my least favorite out of the 3 color blockings. But I actually like these. I liked the lows that dropped recently too. I definitely like the black tongue over the white too.

I wasn’t overly excited about these, but then as I started seeing videos of them, and the way Jordan did the story. I had to get them. Then they got pushed back, I got a pair off GOAT. And I will say I am amazed by these and the details. I’d give them a 9/10!
With how iconic that picture is (on the box), I would really love to have a pair that looked like it was taken from that picture. I don't mind the "air jordan" on the ankle for that reason. However, this shoe looks nothing like the one on the box 😅 they should have at lease made it an 85 cut. Or a jumbo swoosh.. but the newer shape ain't it. Still coppin

I have my pair some disagree but I think k they are better than the lost and found 1s which i also have most people may disagree because the lost and found 1s has the chicago color way and alot of people don't like the air jordan on the side of the these reimagined black toe

They postponed them because Jordan 1 hype died and it's a shame because I LOVE these. Swapping the wings logo out to match that one promo pic goes incredibly hard. It's so low effort in such a dope way that I just love so much. I really am annoyed I have to wait for these and the black tongue is so sick. Oh, to mention about being exhausted with Jordan 1's, I can see that for the hype beasts, but for fans who love the 1 I don't see an issue. Jordan 1's are one of the best fitting shoes for my feet so let me get more and more pairs

Not worried about it. I’ve moved on to better, quality, comfortable sneakers Like New Balance, ASICS, Saucony, etc. Not getting disappointed or ripped off by Nike ever again.

I love the concept but these are a pass for me. If they would have done them in the 85 cut then I would 100% get them. With the history behind these they deserve to be 85 cut not the same cheap modern retro AJ1 style.

I like these quite a bit myself , even as not the biggest fan of the Reimagined series from JB. Black Toes are one of my all time favorite AJ1 colorways & blocking as well. Of course i prefer the 2016 clean / close to OG but this pair which is a take on the sample I appreciate as well. And even if not super recent we just got that OG pair in 2016 , and with AJ1s usually still very much wearable in that timeframe and i believe this Reimagined news / eventual release dropped the resale price on the 2016 pair as well. So i do like a slightly different take with these Reimanged BT1s.
I like most everything about these ; though i actually wish they did not go with the aged midsole , never been keen on the aged aesthetic and to me just played out now. I also don't really like the medial text either. But still absolute must cop for me when they actually release.
Believe its shipping delays or whatever but i actually think its a bad move these were delayed ; this month is a bit slow so they would have been the highlight release of this month. Holiday season is stacked as usual and 2025 has another level of crazy heat and another Reimagined AJ1 High already on the schedule (the OG UNCs), that i believe will get more hype than these. So i believe the Reimagined Black Toe AJ1 Highs will potentially get lost in the mix even more in 2025.
@@Andrew77MUFCI agree with the black toes take. Too much heat coming. I’m also not much a sail midsole guy but with 1s they’re not so bad as long as it’s not extra dirty looking
@@rayrawket i've never been keen on the aged look , if these had a white midsole i'd like them even more. But at least its more the subtle sail / aging , not such a dark super noticeable sail / aging we've seen on some Js. Some of the collabs especially using some way too dark sail / aged hits. This one def seems subtle as some of the early pics was not even totally clear if the midsole was sail or not.
