      You know. Normally.
      When Heretic Guardsmen have Titans.
They call for a deathstrike or 6 to be sure to remove the threat.
Which is why Heretic Titans tend to always be making a hasty withdrawl after deployment.
After all: why risk the destruction of your fantastic machine of death on the battlefield needlessly against an equal machine, when you can deploy weapons across the entire planet to bombard the foe into submission.
Or deploy units actually designed to kill Titan class war machines while your own Titan tears anything NOT a new one, and avoids contact with the rare tools used to actually hurt it.
      It's just intellegent.
Rimmy sent a Titan to fight a Chaos one, and paid the price... Till they shot it to pieces with everything else they owned.

The Cadian XXth, The Nameless Legion is an Imperial Guard regiment given by Cadia to die in the service of the God-Emporer of Mankind. The original number of the Cadian XXth was once the 86th, but to know how they became known as the legendary XXth, one must first understand their history.
The Nameless Legion, back then known as the Cadian 86th, first saw combat during the Fall of Cadia Secundus. The regiment was tasked with defending Kasr Kraf during the 13th Black Crusade. Their regiment took heavy casualties fighting alongside their brother regiment the 87th. Guardsmen fought tooth and nail and gave every inch of ground with a tidal wave of heretic blood. But the Emporer's children would find no victory. As the last line of bunkers within the kasr fell, the Cadian XXth as well as any remaining surviving guardsmen retreated from the city using large sewer system that led out of the city.
But the fight was far from over, as even while retreating, the Cadian 86th fought off wave of heretics as they came charging through the tunnels, eager for more blood. At the same time, this fighting was happening, the highest alive ranking officer, Corporal Rimmy of the 86th, received orders to prepare for a mass evac of the planet. Fighting a bloody retreat, Corporal Rimmy and the Cadian 86th retreated from tunnels and into the plains surrounding the kasr eventually being rescued by the landing Valkyries.
One would think that after witnessing the ending of their homeworld, the Cadian 86th would have some time to rest and gain more numbers, but the duty of the Guard is neverending. Combining the remanents of both of the regiments, the 86th was re-organized into the 87th and sent to immediately take care of a system that had fallen prey to Tau deception alongside other regiments that had also escaped Cadia.
It would seem that the Cadian 87th were cursed. High casualties would be the cost of reclaiming the system, and again, the regiment would be reorganized by pooling the surviving guardsmen and combining multiple regiments. That is the story of the Cadian XXth.
Time and time again, on every operation that the Cadian XXth were a part of, high casualties would follow leading to their service number being lost to time. It was during one engagement in which the now promoted Commander Rimmy remarked to his men that the enemy will never know their name, for it has been lost in Cadian Blood. They have become a Nameless Legion.
His men took readily to the new nickname, painting XX on every piece of equipment. When asked about why they have done this the common answer was to honor those who came before and those who have been forgotten. When Commander Rimmy was asked this same question he replied,
"I'll be honest mate, did not think that it would get out of hand this quickly. But now that this is apparently a thing, what kind of leader would I be if I didn't join my men?"
With every engagement, the Cadian XXth grow stronger, always adding more to their ranks, never truly dying. For it is all well and good to die in the service of the Emporer, but it is true dedication that leads a man to live for him. For the duty of a guardsman ends only in death, but without death, duty never ends. It is through this that the true sacrifice of the Cadian XXth is found.
To live in such times is to be one amongst billions. Life in the 41st millennium is a suffering that ends only in death. By living forever, the Cadian XXth's duty and suffering never ends. For in the grim darkness of the future,
    There is only War.

Legends say once a Commisar attempted to execute a Cadian XXth member for heretical humor, only to be stopped by an Inquisitor on site.
The Commisar, feeling particularly brave, asked the Inquisitor why he hadn't been allowed to execute the Guardsman, and the Inquisitor humored him.
The Inquisitor replied that he had been watching the Cadian XXth fight, and despite seeing endless amounts of what he had judged as heresy, he saw no signs of any actual heresy. In fact, the XXth had fought with Krieger levels of commitment, while spewing enough heretical bullshit to make a Slaneeshi Daemon blush. And after the incident, he'd chosen to observe them rather than execute them, and had seen them keep this up throughout fight after fight, their wills nor faith never faltering for even a second.
He explained how, after that incident, he'd started watching them to see where this loyalty came from, how they were able to be the most loyal heretics in existance. How they were the safest ones against the corruption of Chaos rivaling his own will, while being a risk to units around them as their mere warcries necessitated mass purges.
And he explained, even after half a decade of watching, he had no fucking idea how these men worked. That he just knew they did, with faith surpassing his own, and nothing more on how these Emperor-forsaken bastards worked.

As an actual soldier and someone who is deeply into 40k, I love this song. The general demeanor, the snarky lyrics that take pot shots at their superiors and fellow soldiers, self depreciation, and general gallows humor makes me smile since it sounds much like the kinds of things me and other soldiers will say and really humanizes the imperial guard beyond what they already have going for them. So, I found this comment under Rimmy's video, and I think its perfect:
Cadian XXth is the story of an Astra Militarum regiment that, by some sheer unfortunate circumstances, always has new recruits inherit the memories of the men and women they replace. Instead of a battle hardened regiment of those who can overcome any obstacle based on skill and experience, it's led to the regiment being filled with cynical arseholes. Discipline and order are hard to maintain when, knowing they'll be back later anyway, the order of battle often devolves into "fuck around and find out" tactics. That this strange, numberless, reincarnating regiment still exists and hasn't been properly filed or purged is down to several errors in the administratum that never get corrected because no one wants to admit the mistake.

I know and can expect there will be folks asking 'who or what is the Cadian XXth'
And go looking in the comments for a response like mine.
So: For looking I will reveal! Rimmy plays Arma 3 with friends. They mod it sometimes.
And one day they found an awsome Warhammer 40k mod for it.
One of the most popular groups of Guardsmen in Warhammer 40k are the Cadian army, defenders of their homeworld against the literal worst scum from the fringes of the universe.
They tested their game, got things working, and deployed troops into combat.
They were the Cadian 85th regiment. And they deployed into a area with muliple overlapping fields of fire.
So everyone Respawned (because their Arma 3 server allowed this)
Their transportation flew back and introduced themselves as the 86th regiment and pretended their previous deployment hadn't gone as terribly as it had. Clearly they were a new unit being tasked with completing the same objectives..
By the end of the operation, they stopped giving out new Regiment numbers, and Defined themselves the XXth regiment of guardsmen to be deployed to the task.
As in their own command structure had already lost track of just how many casualties they had been taking, and were assigning new troops to regiments at random.
    This was initially a joke.
But it stuck around. And Rimmy got REALLY popular with the antics in those videos.
That is because they were really good.
    Go look them up.

I really liked how the rhyme and rhythm in the song was just ever so slightly askew with the wording and the slightly mismatched vocals, it had this earnest and all too "human" energy to it, much like the guard itself

Damn this song really is a fustercluck in every sense of it, Rimmy commissioned it to show the feeling of playing with the Cadian XXTH, but also how over the place the song itself is, like i can hear it going similarly to lamenters one moment, than to another song i don't even know the name of.

The true strength of humanity isnt our bravery. Our cleverness, our millitary might. It's our ability to gaze upon a impossible situation, filled with terror. Knowing there's a good chance we'd never win, yet dive head first into the challenge nonetheless. To rage against the dark, to defy the end. To push through the fear and give it everything we have.

What's truly beautiful (and the slightest bit amusing) about all this is just how well Rimmy's 40k scenarios encapsulate what the universe is about (or, at least a massive aspect of it), and this song ties-up that connection in a nice little ribbon.
