Arles is wonderful. It is my favorite Provencale town. It has managed to preserve its roots whilst reinventing its place as a cultural beacon, But Grenoble?! As we say in French I suppose all tastes are in nature?

Nice video. I'm surprised you missed Chamonix, Vannes and Colmar, which are hugely touristic cities. I should mention Cannes too, even if it's not my thing personally. Those cities are really synonymous with tourism over here.

👀 Then don’t forget to take a look at smaller ones as Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, Brantôme, Sarlat, Concarneau, Collonges-La-Rouge, Cassis, Grignan, Monpazier, Saint-Malo, Mont-Saint-Michel, Orange, Arles, Nîmes, Locronan, Quimper, Vannes and many many many others ! You will be surprised, for sure….
It's a shame Rouen was half destroyed during the bombing raids, the old historic center is beautiful but it's pretty tiny now and all the docks have been quickly rebuild after the war and are now pretty ugly, the left river is also ugly, well I guess we can still be happy Rouen didn't get totally wiped out like Le Havre was.
So anyway, even if I come from Rouen I'm not really sure the city deserve to be in the top 10.
I would rather do Le mont st Michel in Normandy and St Malo in Brittany (45km from each other), or Carcassonne in Occitania.

Je suis totalement d'accord avec toi, et encore ont a pas trop à se plaindre en France ! Imagine ce qu'a subit l'Allemagne sur le plan du patrimoine ont a littéralement rasé leurs villes de A à Z, certaines comme Hambourg c'était des Rouen 5x plus grand et encore plus jolie et pittoresque dont il ne reste pas une seule maison... Mais c'est l'histoire de l'humanité, depuis des millénaires on rase des cités et on les reconstruit. 😅
Like all german cities!!! They are all ugly! The city centres are a little okay but in general, cities are all small and ugly in Germany. That is why people visit France and Italy! Not Germany

Toulouse "ville rose"....la bonne blague....A part le Capitol tout est MARRON même si l'architecture reste jolie, quelques beaux hôtels particuliers, la brique est marron même quand un rayon de soleil....et impression très claustro - 3 jours sous la pluie quasi....très mauvais souvenir pour moi

Faut pas oublier les villes de lorraine! Metz une petite Venise avec la plus belle gare de France et ça cathédrale de 800 ans avec la surface de vitraux la plus importante d'Europe , Nancy avec la place Stanislas la plus belle de France , Verdun très jolie en plus de son passé historique , les Vosges , la campagne des cotes de Meuse ect ..... sans parler aussi des spécialités culinaires et de la riche histoire de la région . Région frontalières avec la Belgique, le Luxembourg, l'Allemagne et même presque frontalière avec la suisse . Une grande région de France qui est complétement occulté des reportages et commentaires anglosaxon sur la France ! J'aimerai bien connaitre la cause de cet état de fait . Merci

@@alexandreregnier7255 En tout objectivité y’a bien mieux en France. Le Vieux Lille c’est 3 rues sympas, la place de l’opera qui est jolie, et basta, le reste de la ville est assez glauque,gris sans verdure (Fives, Wazemmes, Moulin, etc) 😅
J’ai vécu 4 ans Boulevard de la Liberté, et je ne mettrai pas Lille dans le top 20. C’est probablement la grande ville la moins sympa à vivre de France, avec les gens les plus chauvins 😭
