Case information:
Case 1: On September 6, 2003, as always, Chanh wandered around the city bus station area looking for "prey", stalking pickpockets and met Mr. Kien. The driver invited Chanh to ride and the person hired him to take him home. Upon arriving, Chanh had the intention of killing someone to rob property. The subject invited the motorbike taxi driver into his house for a drink and waited for him to get money to pay for the ride. Taking advantage of Mr. Kien's vulnerability, Chanh used a hammer and hit the victim's head multiple times, causing the male driver to die on the spot. Afterwards, Chanh dragged this person's body to the garden and dug a hole to bury the body.
Case 2: At noon on January 15, 2012, Mr. Nguyen Chi Hung and his wife Phan Thi Nga (born 1960, residing in Chau Duc district) received a phone call from Ms. Huong to come to their house to pay the debt of 80 million VND. At about 3:00 p.m. the same day, seeing the creditor and his wife coming, Mrs. Huong invited her into the house and told her to wait for her husband to come home and get the money to pay, and not to forget to lock the gate. Then he went down to the house holding a knife and chased Mr. Hung and his wife, terrified for "daring to ask for money". Fortunately, people in the area "rescued" Ms. Nga and Mr. Hung from the debtor's knife. Immediately afterwards, perpetrator Le Thi Huong was arrested for "murder". Afterwards, Huong burned Ms. Ha's body and threw her bones in the backyard to get rid of the evidence
