First off shhhh gomes. Why blow it up lol. Oh ok so they decided to make it like this. What I do not like is you do not get credit for hits or k's using wild card guys which it should. Considering they are considered season 3 eligible
The MLB The Show crowd is pretty confusing to me. If there weren’t sets and seasons there would be less than 1/3 of the players there are today on it because everyone would be bored an they would complain about having the same dominant players all year. People beg for new cards but then still go and put Babe Ruth or someone who’s been out forever in a wild card spot and don’t even use the new guys. People want new content but don’t. It’s actually the most contradicting fan base of a game I’ve ever seen. Lol. Just play the game or don’t man

i just started at the end of season 2 and i think it’s pretty dumb the fact i grinded programs and can’t even use the cards now. why make us grind and take it away
I get your point, and it’s a good one, I agree. Just FYI Ruth is a core card which is why you see him on almost every team for the first couple weeks of a new season.

I personally just use giants players mostly. Alot of live players and I play to play if I win it feels good if I don't I had a weak team anyway.

@@cjc444 the conquest for team affinity is a grind 🤣🤣🤣 that’s normally the first thing I do. I loaded it up and found out it’s the USA map with every team. Fuck that 😭
Pedro, Babe Ruth (P/DH), Mussina, Angels Nolan Ryan, Ohtani (fits corbin) is the pitching staff for that captain..Trevor Hoffman at 2B(fits Corbin&Mussina)..Mariano, Lee Smith, Suter in the pen. Lets you go tier 2 Mussina with tier 3 Corbin
You could go tier 3 Corbin and Mussina if you have open wild card slots, I got S2 Halladay, S1 Goose and dihigo at C in my lineup (dihigo is in the hof but somehow doesn’t apply to the mussina boost)

How do I know if it’s a wild card in the marketplace or not?
When you open the market go to options, go down to seasons and select 3. Every card will be season 3 eligible, outside of this list every other card would require the use of a wild card slot. Or just look in the upper corner of the card, if it doesn’t have S3 you will need to use a wild card slot, unless it’s a core card of course.

I was playing earlier this year on Xbox with gamepass but I decided to cancel it because it kept getting more and more expensive. I was thrilled with Sony announced it was coming as a monthly free game this month and I can’t wait to jump back in to Season 3!

@@ianispain4925 only played 3 games so far. Still hitting it in gap only but solid swing and the 99 speed is amazing. However haven't got to P5 yet which would give him 89 pwr vs left and 87 vs right with the tier 3 cruz boost so im keep trying him for now
Especially since pitching is so beyond pointless in this game, when every tournament game ends with scores like 20 to 30 or whatever. Pitching is broken in 24

How come when I try to put season 3 cards on my lineup it makes me activate them as a wild card.
This was happening to me too but if you hit generate best season 3 lineup it should fix it and then you can go make your lineup how you want it

@gomesdalegend being that mlb will be free game Tuesday could you make a video for those that are starting to play? This is my first year since mlb the show 15 that I didn't buy. It would he a big help to just not waste my time as a dad with limited time to play
