They needed this after the failure of the last drop. That clemente card fits the oneill cruz boost which is insane, same with the rollie fingers. Sosa card fits it too but he doesnt really benefit from it like the first two do. No catcher secondary on schwarber hurts though, especially with the lack of high power non wild card catchers currently. There are simply too many players vying for that 1B/DH slot, one of them (babe ruth) being the best card in the game at either and kind of an automatic shoe in for either position. Plus we haven't even unlocked Lou Gerig yet. That vaughn card is a huge dissapointment for an event reward and it shows, already down to 90k and it just came out.

Nope, have never been able to hit with his cards. Ill do the program to unlock him (for Collection) but won't use him at all

B+ drop a solid rebound after the previous season award cards. Also that glitch where quitting out of an event game and getting a point for the Clemente program made the grind tolerable 😅
Why are there no Rewind packs in this event? Did they get rid of that?
I would say the programs are insane but those Schwarber and Carrol cards look amazing.
They should have gave schwarber a C oop card
yeah him not having C secondary hurts him big. There are already way too many guys vying for that first base/dh spot since you'd never play him in the outfield. Once we unlock Lou Gerig especially, he's essentially another babe ruth and no one is out performing either of those 2 cards offensively. He would immediately be the best catcher in the game right now if he was C secondary

Hate that they didn’t give Kyle table setter and first pitch hitter quirks. Especially after breaking the record for most lead off homeruns
To be fair most teams dont put their best power hitter at the lead off unless the hitter is also a speedster. Idk y Phillies have Schwarber lead when Trea Turner is on the team lol
@@killerineverygameit’s so they can steal a free run to start the game. 14 times this year the Phillies already had a run by the time their second batter is up. Weird strategy but it’s kind of working for them 🤷🏼♂️ and he’s been leadoff all year that’s why I think he should have the lead off quirks

Anyone else having flashbacks to July 25, 2021 when we had a Clemente HR in the dailies at Forbes Field. It wasn’t easy (I know, this is the internet so feel free to insert the obligatory “I did it my first try” comment here). There were plenty of Twitter comments and TH-cam guys saying how long it took.
I failed the first moment because I done it true to what happened. You can not pass it by hitting an in the park homerun. Lol.
Dude it might be because im ass but it took me so many attempts to do the grand slam moment. But in the moment where i just needed a hit or xbh i hit a hr both times easy lol
so a guaranteed program every year and a guaranteed monthly lightning player constitutes “big update” . chalk the game

I got Aaron today and the will likely use Carroll and clemente. All sds needs to do is routinely add guys that you want to add to your team instead of collection fodder. I like this drop.

2k25 is already better than the show this year 💩
2k25 is the worst online sports game that has ever existed, have fun spending 200 dollars on VC bud. it's only decent as an offline simulation game which no one cares about. someone made a video and showed it takes 200 hours of single player my career just to get an 85 overall, yall are clowns. You said the same thing about college football and then madden, both games died in a week while the show is still trucking.

But The Show is absolute dog shit this year. And where did you get that CFB and Madden "died in a week"? Madden is garbage like every other year but CFB, despite the flaws, is a fun game. And all of the games mentioned are more popular than The Show right now. In fact, going off any metric (live player count, Twitch, etc) The Show is behind 2K, Madden, CFB, EA FC 24 (and will be 25 when it comes out in a week), F1 24 and Rocket League. The Show is barely ahead of NHL 24. So what are you even talking about? You can like a game without making things up about it lol. The Show is not popular this year, you're one of very few people still playing relatively speaking and MLB is close to the playoffs, so there's no excuse. The game sucked this year, just like 2K sucks.
