- ** REMINDER: I ALWAYS love and welcome positive comments! However, please remember not to include ANY info, hints, explanations, spoilers, backseating or suggestions for the game as this is a TOTALLY blind playthrough! This is important just so I can play the game with a completely fresh and uninfluenced experience and also so other viewers who haven’t played the game can also experience the game this way. Even when I ask questions in-game, it is by default rhetorical and I'm not asking for answers (unless I explicitly say I would like answers!) - I just want viewers to understand my thinking at the time. Thank you for understanding!
In this ep, we explore a mysterious - and beautiful - new area!
Welcome to my first totally fresh experience of the ever-popular Subnautica! I’ve been SO keen to play this game for a long time and I’m thrilled to finally be here, experiencing all the wonder and survival drama - and to bring you along with me in this anxiety-filled adventure in a beautiful and deadly ocean wonderland.
Subnautica is a 2018 action-adventure survival game developed and published by Unknown Worlds Entertainment. The player controls Ryley Robinson, a survivor of a spaceship crash on an alien oceanic planet, which they are free to explore. The main objectives are to find essential resources, survive the local flora and fauna, and find a way to escape the planet. It was released in early access for Windows in December 2014.

@@Whackaroon Thank you! 🙏
@ your welcome I love Subnautica
When you figure out how to use the grappling arm on the prawn suit effectively you'll be loving life and it's lots of fun. But until then it does feel super clunky. It takes everyone awhile to do so, so just keep experimenting. We believe in you :)
Time and time again the switch seems to fail you :(
I second this. With the right combo of steps to get moving I find the Prawn almost as fast as the Seamoth. Definitely not as maneuverable (and I have no idea how extra challenging it would be on a Switch) but getting around with it isn't an issue at all when kitted out.
