After dissing Arteta and Gabriel during then after the end of the September game, Haaland also 'asked' MLS, "Who the f***k are you!!" so who was giving it large? Also, the meditation goal celebration is Antoine Griezmann's from 2017 onwards, so Haaland was just hijacking someone else's moves. Anyway, which EPL team were you playing for when you just turned 18 years old, and when did you score a screamer against a current EPL champion or any top pro team, let alone one of the best in Europe (except maybe on FIFA)? Relax yourself and don't let the tribalism fool you dude.

    Havertz himself is not the issue. He has 18 goals and 9 assists in his last 35 Premier League matches going back a full year. And 24 goals and 11 assists in his last 52 matches in all competitions for Arsenal. His productivity is much better than he’s given credit for. The real issue is Arsenal do not have another viable Number 9 for Havertz to play off of from midfield. Havertz’s most effective position is playing as a second striker floating in from the midfield when Arsenal dominate possession against low blocks. After a while, the criticism of Havertz from these pundits and a certain subset of Arsenal fans gets really old because they virtually never talk in nuance about him and just non-stop mock and slander him.

    • @dead_r33d
      @dead_r33d 21 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

      stop this rubbish. Havertz is a key part of the issue. stop these stats. show me how many of those goals were scored in key moments of a game. watch that City game - clear chance to make it 2-0 early and he misses but ends up snagging a goal when the game is dead at 3-1 to make it 4. will you now add such a goal as a reason he’s not a problem??? stop it

    • @1stand11
      @1stand11 21 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@dead_r33d Nah, you stop it. I get it that you don’t rate Havertz and you constantly go on about it. But you’re exactly the type of person I’m talking about. Bigger picture, Havertz is not the long term solution up top as the striker for Arsenal. But that’s not even the position he should be playing in the first place. Like I said in my original post, his best position by far is coming in as a second striker from deeper positions against low blocks when Arsenal dominate possession. Contrary to what a lot of people think, he fits in very well in Arteta’s system from that position. As for crucial goals/moments. I find it hilarious how people like you very conveniently neglect to mention Havertz assisted Odegaard on the first goal at the weekend by paying the ball on a platter for him. You then act like scoring the 4th goal wasn’t important when that’s complete nonsense. He made the match 4-1 and prevented City from making the last 20 minutes nervy if they scored to make it 3-2. Likewise, Havertz put Arsenal up 2-0 against Villa a couple of weeks ago to ceil what should have been a victory. But Arsenal blew the 2 goal lead. Not to mention he scored the winner in the match before that against Ipswich. I get it, people like you are going to constantly downplay Havertz. But it gets boring after a while and is tiresome to read the lack of nuance people like you use to analyze him.

      The pundits look at this from the right POV, Arteta has put Havartz in the position of being targeted as he is effectively their striker. You are right he is better feeding off or feeding a striker. It means effectively that Arsenal will get close but they won't win any silverware.

      @1stand11 OneHundredPercent correct! Same issue when Arsenal had Giroud but needed another type of striker with different movement and better goal: chance ratio (but Wenger didn't resolve it so Arsenal faded from winning the EPL twice in a row). But look what Giroud did for Chelsea, AC Milan and France when he had that support. Arsenal used to have 4 out-and-out CFs of repute in a squad when they were winning things - even bitd, Alan Smith eventually needed an Ian Wright. Wright then had Bergkamp, then Wright and Anelka, then Kanu, then Henry, RvP and so on. Even more recently, Auba had Lacazette. Arsenal had Havertz with Nketiah (Jesus is predominantly injured). Nketiah is not a high -yield goal-scorer and was sold on. Jesus is long-term injured again (3rd consecutive season). How many dedicated CFs do e.g., Liverpool, City, Villa, Newcastle, Chelsea, Forest and Bournemouth have in their squad/on the pitch? Havertz is not a true CF (hence the missed chances or deep starting positions) and cannot do enough by himself; he's part of the solution, not THE solution.

    People keep saying a no 9, but the issue is much deeper! The style is such that it creates very few chances for striker, and running behind will rarely work because the other team is always parking the bus against Arsenal, Arsenal don't play quick enough, so I feel even an Isak would struggle but he would not miss chances he gets, thats the only diff. Also the midfield needs more creativity, Odegaard is a controversial character for me, he has immense skills, but he just cannot do well when we need him most, he doesn't score, feels too passive and overthinking around the box, if it comes good its magic otherwise its nothing with him. Frank is right about style, the speed is too slow, if the speed was quicker, more direct, it would be better. Its tough for us Arsenal fans, the team has quality but it doesn't shine often and it doesn't improve consistently.

    Same tired players playing all the time; cannot expect energy.. no back ups except Sterling.
    Could have at least recalled viera or nelson back from loan or promoted someone from academy, but already have lost chido obi to Man U. Sorry state of affairs at Emirates.

      I agree they are. But we all have seen teams come back from being 2 down. And why did they lose the first leg. It tells me they still do not have a winning mentality nor the team to back it up.
