It was great being able to turn off the subtitles when David was speaking. Not like those rough English accents of Robin and Ed.

This is a wonderful delight of a vid like always .... I'm gonna miss these days when you are able to respond to all the subscribers ... and then your channel blasts up into the million subscribers and it's impossible to interact. Always great content and love seeing the perfection and education. Have a perfect weekend !

Very inspiring watching your vids, being a novice, I never realised how much planning needs to go into a project and how that shows through in the final design. Really appreciate you sharing your tips & tricks, love the Viking arms!

couple of things Robin. I realised David was a true professional when I saw him lean over to sight the line when he and Ed were covering the door; instead of just trusting measurements. The other thing I ask is when painting a wall, why not go all over coverage. I realize that you wont see it but OCD requires complete converage.

Great video and great project. My 'Reliable Carpentry' hoodie arrived today - yay! Managed to resist the urge to wear it while watching the video though.

3 minutes in. How will he do the curve? Outer, room faces of slats have same gaps as flat wall, or the rear faces have same gaps... tension mounts!

Just noticed title in the thumbnail: 'Desinger' - those slats to baffle the sound of Robin singing in the shower? Is his voice that bad? My wife is currently out at choir, I'm banned from making my untuneful roar so I could do with those slats!

I appreciate the comment, with enough experience and knowledge a craftsman is able to know when using a power tool that may produce chips and dust when it would be appropriate to adopt appropriate PPE, Davie like many time served and experienced craftspeople just know that some applications such as this one he is performing is very low risk when it comes to the potential of harm to his eyes, Davie has experienced the unimaginable in his professional life serving us and I trust his judgment when it comes to PPE, I know that the rules on building sites are 5 point PPE for all no excuses but that is from an avoidance of liability and litigation from the main contractor, they really do not care about us in general!!!
